I am going through the wiki list of mythological hybrid creatures and imagining their lives and what they might be like and what they might like to do. It's been fun - sometimes; some of the myths are dark and sad.
A fun little drawing iv been working on for a few days on and off. I wasn't sure what to fill so much negative space with but eventually decided on spider webs. lol Big thank you to Miss Betsi and her awesome Youtube tutorials on how to make these fun designs and more! Originally drawn in ink on plain paper and filtered and enhanced digitally afterward~
This is the second oil painting I have ever made, and the first time I have attempted to create mountains, trees and bushes. I used just 3 colours for this: Raw Umber, Phthalo Blue and Titanium White. I learned a lot and had tonnes of fun at the same time.

Some days ago we visited the garage of my uncle. It was so wonderful to see all the colourful cars. Hearing him talking about the projects (repair and build) and each individual car really inspired me. This day really inspired me to start drawing this. Sloths have an unusual method of camouflage. Cracks in their hair allow many different species of algae and fungi to grow which makes them appear green. Some species of fungi living in sloth fur have been found to be active against certain strains of bacteria, cancer and parasites! Sloth hair also provides home to an entire ecosystem of invertebrates — some species of which are found nowhere else on earth (like the ‘sloth moth’). If "Cuphead; The Delicious Last Course" had a more darker ending, where you literally break Chef Saltbaker's heart. The other Inkwell residents would be attending his funeral, and he spends an eternity cooking in Hell.
Hi and hello! Now is the time for her to just feel the sand under her toes and knees. The little friends are doing their happydance and she passed by to say hello. I was so proud of this picture and had alot of fun drawing it and then - I honestly got really insecure about it. Now i gave myself a little push and decided to share it now. Apologies for the super dull drawing,I can't seem to make up my mind if I want to keep painting or draw digitally,it's almost like a mini art block.I dreamed of a candy person and decided he would be pink instead because pink can be a fun color to use even though I dislike it.He's a marshmellow,a pink one.
