The drawing contrasts what an individual see's and what the general public see's when viewing a particular topic. outside the frame of the glasses everything is plain black and white and has no important information that grabs your attention but inside the frame of the persons glasses there's a personalized idea or version of each person in the corridor. the drawing gives off the idea of seeing the world through another's eyes and using glasses as the medium to display that.

I was kinda bored when I drew this, so it came out in the art work. Incidentally, this guy looks a bit like a character in the nameless city series of graphic novels, which I finished reading recently. The first book is rather heavy handed, but the last two are much better by comparison.

Re-watching the series now. Really liked the general concept, visual character design and the action scenes. It even inspired me to make an AMV about Korra >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TIidatQrw8 It was nice and refreshing to see a (physically) strong rebellious female character, something different from a usual portrayal of female characters. However something went down the hill and I'm struggling to go past the 1st season hehe. I know, Korra and the whole series are quite controversial and I understand why, but as a female myself I was inspired by this badass female character (well, as I explained, until some point, but nonetheless). I'm rather pleased with this one. Did you know that banner bearers are actually super important? In ancient battles, they stood at the front lines and used various signals to communicate the general's orders to the troops. There was an important battle between the Greeks and Persians in 480 BC. called the battle of Thermopylae. The Greeks were outrageously outnumbered. However, when a banner bearer accidentally dropped their banner, the other bearers thought it was the signal to retreat, and dropped their banners as well. The entire Persian army was routed by the significantly smaller Greek force. So technically this lady is much more important and powerful than any flashy warrior could be.

Re-did an older animation I did as a still-doodle, just improved on the general look and feel of the scene itself. Tried to go much brighter than I normally do, color-wise.

I have been attempting for some time to accomplish the 100 heads challenge, its been a slow process but my goal is 4 poses from 25 characters from some of my favorite movies and t.v. Series. Ive enjoyed this project so far and have noticed its pushed me to work on some much needed improvement on drawing heads in general.

Urszyg [oorshig] – a daimon watching over garden cabins, summer houses, dachas, etc. He’s very fond of DIY projects, grilled dishes (although he wouldn’t say: „No“ to a good cat food). This guy is the god of illness and poison, and is just generally really cool. I like him, even if I don't like this drawing all too much.

I don't often do the prompts and, when I do, I generally finish them late. They don't always speak to me, but this one did. The ideas are not original, but I'm pretty sure I came up with this maxim last year as a way of encouraging myself.

Ladies and Gents, I present....Slater! My newest character that I brought back to life. Although this was not his original design, but I think I dig it. Slater is an alien species (species not identified yet) so therefore hence why his ears look like that. Slater is charismatic, sly, generally laid back but unfortunately a womanizer. But there is one....one who is constantly rejecting him and keeping him at arms length. She will be introduced at a later time, I'm still working on her design. I have so many plans for this guy.

Hi guys! This is my first attempt at a concept art! I'm doing a course about this and this one is my first project, and i really want to see what the community thinks of it, please do share your thoughts on this! I'm really new to digital painting and painting in general so i know i have a lot to improve.

I draw as discreetly as i can interesting faces in buses, cafes, parks. in general I get away with it, but sometimes fellow passengers, or patrons notice my moral trespassings, with a wink.

This creature lays it's eegs near cliffs to the sea. The eggs roll into the water and for about 7 days the sea will be quiet. When they hatch it storms. The Alkonost is in general friendly towards mankind.

Macelby is an autumn spirit & a guardian of the Harvest. Generally, his appearance indicates a good omen, although he will take up the sword when the occasion arises.
