Figured I’d try my hand at something fan art flavoured for this one… namely in the form of my favourite tiny fictional character, Kirby!
I can’t ascertain when exactly I became a fan of the Kirby franchise, although playing Super Smash Bros as a young boy may have something to do with that.
Whatever the case, I got hooked on the pink (or blue in some cases) puffball very quickly!
I keep coming back to this Vice headline I saw and took a screenshot of this time last week, which inspired the title of this piece. Seems like a relevant metaphor to me (and others I know) for so many reasons right now! Thankfully nothing too traumatic in my case...
All Done! I’m pretty happy with how it turned out, but a few of the proportions are way off... but oh well. And I absolutely suck at manes(hair) soooo ya. Also I was curious, I’m thinking about getting some prints made of my artwork to sell, do any of you think you or someone you know would be interested in prints? Just curious, thanks! Hi and hello! Now is the time for her to just feel the sand under her toes and knees. The little friends are doing their happydance and she passed by to say hello. I was so proud of this picture and had alot of fun drawing it and then - I honestly got really insecure about it. Now i gave myself a little push and decided to share it now. I tried out some oil marker art and ‘neonified’ a portrait as a gift for my brother. It was a really fun new project, and definitely adding Posca markers to my art bag soon!

Horse eye done in graphite. Took about 3 hrs to complete. I’m really happy with how it turned out, but this was my first time doing a detailed eye so I would love to hear what you guys think!
