Progression 4 of 5. Nearly done at this point. I liked how the light and shadow played out under her foot. The muscle tone of her legs really popped out with the dark pencil.
Progression 1 of 5. Found this image and felt it captured the power a beauty of the sport. Also, this piece I did with out any blending or smudging, which is my usual go-to technique.
A heavy WIP of my illustration based on the Broadway musical "HEATHERS" song, "Meant To Be Yours." When it comes to digital art, everything I've done has all been self taught. I began this piece when I first began on my I-pad and am still at it till I can make this piece what I envision it to be. I learned a lot of shadowing and effects on this piece, and I can't wait to complete it! What do you think thus far?

This painting/ drawing is started in the Abstract with forms created organically. I used Acrylics and applied them liberally as you might use in watercolor techniques. I love challenging myself to create in this form, as I do in finding the figures which may form themselves in the process. I then detail the figures in a drawing style to enhance and bring it forward. It's easy to forget that cats are actually little ghouls...they want to hunt and kill stuff almost as much as they want to cuddle up with you when it's cold (yes, they are also heat vampires). But they are also complex and amazing little fur-suited people.
Can you feel the heat? We're dancing at the party on Concrete Street! We never said that this party'd ever come to an end - the sun is setting but no fretting we can do it again!
