I actually finally got round to framing this piece I did and hanging it up on my wall the other day, which made me really happy :).

I don't know why these all upload sideways, but here's my latest work for the sketchbook. I created the electric field pattern and printed it on photo paper then doodled these rainbow trout (at the suggestion of my friend Andrew) and glued them on.
A fun drawing to do. I usually do a lot of crosshatching, but for this one I went for the smoothness, better to capture the light, I suppose, where crosshatching can be a little distracting. Or look like hair! As some have said.
Vibrant flowers, including a sunflower and a rose, dominate the forefront of the painting with their bright and colorful petals. Light, sketch-like strokes give the piece a playful and dynamic feel, with an array of greens creating a lively backdrop for the blooms.
She could distantly hear the Mice Army praying to the Mouse God, but for her the time for prayers was over.

It’s Good to be King, if just for a while. I draw in my notes for work every day. It helps me digest the things that are said in meetings. In the case, it simply divided one topic from another. I color in the drawings later or the next day, which helps me recall my notes and it is peaceful.

I have decided to take the visuals from the game where Ciri is already a grown up and became very strong. Behind her is Geralt who looks after her. I asked my husband (who is our Covid-period grocery shopper as I am high risk) to bring home a fruit to draw. He came home with a dragon fruit. For those who don't know this interesting edible, it's from a cactus. There are two species: the Asian species is white inside, the Central American variety is shocking pink (see photo). Great in smoothies or when nicely ripe (as this one was) it's tasty eaten out of the skin with a spoon.
