A great deal of upheaval in my personal life, including making steps to better my mental health as well as reflecting on changes in my work life (potentially) and also my living situation, have dominated my headspace as of late.
Long story short, Buddha reminding us all to still any madness in life got me to work here as did the obvious itch to get some drawing done!
Everyday with Aspergers is a storm of overwhelm - some good, some bad, and some painful. This was an "intuitive" painting with tons of layers, and no preplanning (what?!). I used acrylic paints, post markers, and pencils - I think it shows the exhaustion and overstimulation really well.
I really didn't like how I drew Dezeo last time so I quickly redesigned him(i'll draw his wings next time),im also practicing how to draw male faces better as well as muscular bodies,

It was a really slow day at work, so slow that I had enough time to draw this on a sticky note with little to no interruptions. This was also inspired by a curated gallery on here called "Fun with Fungi".
I rarely add colors to my drawings but am dabbling in unfamiliar territory with the Krita app. I am enjoying the ability to add textures as well. For me, it is similar to drawing left handed. This is the same drawing with a different technique.
THE MARTIAN from Stories for Nighttime and Some for the Day by Ben Loory.
"The three of them sit down to dinner. Halfway through the soup course, a Martian enters the room. It takes the astronaut’s napkin and lays it across his lap. Then it turns around and walks out.
I thought you said you didn’t see any Martians, says the woman.
Not on the moon, says the astronaut, no."

THE SHIELD from Stories for Nighttime and Some for the Day by Ben Loory.
"And the remembrance of that place seems to spur him on, and suddenly he’s picking up the pace. Suddenly he’s jogging down the middle of the road, and then he breaks into a run. And then he’s running as fast as he can, and it feels like he’s about to take off. By the time the man gets to the cheap side of town, he’s never felt so good in his life. And he blows right by that dingy apartment and off into wide open space." https://www.instagram.com/p/CguFREoucBj/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

A handful of Brit flicks have been showing up on Disney+ lately, and one of them I watched recently had Luke Perry of all folks in it... the film in question is called ‘The Beat Beneath My Feet’ in case you’re curious.
In all seriousness though, British films with American actors in them as a lead/central character will forever and always fascinate me, much like Luke Perry’s birth name did! Rest well good sir and thanks for everything.
