hi

My drawings lately have been more pixelated because I've been drawing on a different software than usual. I've been drawing on aggie.io with my friend, which is where I do most of my drawings because I am otherwise unmotivated. This will be changing soon! I got a new computer with a TV for a monitor! It's way easier to draw and runs much faster.

It's little Saint Therese! Whenever we get overwhelmed by the troubles of life, let us remember to be little! Yes, little children of God, dependent on the Father and filled with divine love and trust. Sometimes I feel like I can only do the little things with great love because when you suffer from depression (did you know she suffered from it too?) the little things become great heroic acts for you to do! Yet to the outsider, they say, well he is doing nothing. However it's the greatest thing! I must decrease and Christ must increase. I am nothing and God is the one who is All. So when I do my little nothing things but I do them with and in Christ they become resplendent! In the divine will those little things become divine acts that will shine for us in Heaven! God is so good! ^_^ #Therese, #Saint, #sttherese, #stthereseoflisieux, #little, #littleway, #spiritualchildhood, #divinewill, #depression, #divine, #resplendent, #shiny, #shine, #Heaven, #Catholic, #Christian, #Christianity, #France, #HistoryofFrance,

This is a work in progress! I decided to use those Adobe apps for the first and perhaps last time because of the app shutting down. This art style is inspired by Looney Tunes + Don Bluth. Please enjoy!

WHIMSY GIRL WITH WHIMSY HOUSE TO MATCH HER

I was able to find 6b and 8b 2mm leads. So I bought 2 more NIC PRO 2 mm lead holders. They arrived from Amazon today. I wanted to add more tonal depth...but I am not too sure it worked out the way I thought it would. I still need to tighten things up.

The Hive is one of my favorite things to work on in my free time. Though this one's a bit outdated, I haven't drawn the new things that much, so this'll do for now. Will post more about them most likely, I could talk for hours about these guys, lol.

Progress picture.

Cutthroat - Leader of the Pirate Faction, and one of the most infamous of his time. Haven't made a good drawing of him in a while, this one turned out better than I expected.

Ink on paper // 8.5 x 5.5 in // 2017

This makes me feel something, but I don't know what to call it. Collage on paper // 5 x 7 in // 2021

It's a new day. A reason to smile!

My wife asked me to draw this for a friend of a friend. It took me a good chunk of the summer to complete. The family loved it.

This pen & ink doodle features a mysterious-looking tree fort. Whose hideout is it? I guess we'll never know . . . :)

Uplift is a illustration of a dancer in its freedom of movements. Everyone should have a right to express and say something in its own way.

Inktober 2020 prompt (9)

It's Elijah the prophet ready to slay some prophets of Baal! Attack! lol. He stands before Mount Carpegna, he does like mountains after all, especially Mount Carmel. I drew this awhile back because I like to especially draw the saints that the monks are named after. Saint Elijah pray for us! #Elijah, #Prophet, #Judaism, #Christianity, #Catholic, #Carmel, #Mountain, #Carpegna, #Sword, #Battle, #Victory

This was about a year or 2 ago when I started to get into painting with acrylics. I asked my nephew what he likes and this is what I came up with. He loved it!

Inspired by... https://www.doodleaddicts.com/uploads/50020/a-cliff-side-town/ ...I wanted to draw some jukebox like hills

This piece became darker and darker as I progressed. The piece most likely regressed. The stems?

(3)"Radio" Inktober 2020

Vent art! Not sure what else to say about this. It's almost my birthday, at the time of writing. It'll be on November 13th. I probably won't post that day, but we'll see.

It's the young little St. Gabriel of Our Lady of Sorrows! This is who our Brother Gabriel takes his name after. The book is the Passion, he is a Passionist after all. :P Some qoutes: “Our perfection does not consist of doing extraordinary things but to do the ordinary well” “With sin, O Jesus, I gave you the death, but I do not despair of your forgiveness. Those scourges call me, those arms extended invite me, that injured Heart offers me a secure shelter.” “. . . fidelity in little things must be the basic rule in striving for holiness,” St. Gabriel, pray for us! #Catholic, #Christian, #Gabriel, #Saint, #Passion, #Passionists, #Littleness, #Cartoon

Lola Bunny needs to do more gags like this.

Last post for me for a while while I focus on finding myself a job again. Hope you enjoy and visit my site if you like to see all the other stuff I do.

I present on this Year of St. Joseph my icon of St. Joseph and the teenager Jesus! I haven't really seen many pics of young Jesus and nothing of St. Joseph with teenager Jesus. So here it is! St. Joseph pray for us! and Young Jesus have mercy on us! ^_^ ( St.Joseph is pointing to Jesus like he's saying "He is all" because Joseph always points us to Jesus) #StJoseph, #Joseph, #Consecration, #Jesus, #Young, #Teenager, #Icon, #Cartoon, #YearOfSaintJoseph
