One of my high school friends went on a family trip and returned to find his girlfriend obsessed with a dead bird. She had found it, extensively photographed it, and kept it in a box. He broke up with her. I cannot, for the life of me, get over this story, even though it happened almost 20 years ago. I want to hunt this girl down and ask her approximately one million questions.

An illustrated poem I did as part of my drive to learn Korean. I did this, along with 40 plus other illustrated poems, in my notebook. About once a year I set aside a page in my sketchbook, or bullet journal, to do a marker test. I go through every pen I own including Sharpies, highlighters, Bic Permanent Markers, Crayola markers, Stabilo pens, Expo dry erase markers and everything in between. I document the quality and determine whether to keep or toss the utensil. I find it’s easy to collect art materials, especially when you’re like me and switch mediums regularly. It’s important to know that when I reach for a certain pen or marker, it’s going to work the way I want it to. I do keep a page at the back of my sketchbook open for testing mediums, but it’s an important part of the process of creating art to go with the flow and just draw.

Nornwan. Once there were Nature dwelling elves. They only ever lived, frolicked and played in the deep woods. Their bodies were quite accustomed to the trees. They could speak with the elements of nature, they could make the trees move and cause great mushrooms to grow from the earth. Theirs was the power to ask the spirits that watched over the wood fro guidance and peace. The Knights Factions implored these wild folk for aid on one fateful day. Few elves agreed to give trees and other supplies to the army, those that did not were attacked and destroyed and given no help by the army of Knights.

A.Taffelers is one of the most influential yet richest drug lords (richer than ruthleen and parslip) and also one of the youngest at 27 years old.Taffelers is highly temperamental yet cunning,he often has mood swings which leads to him having emotional outbursts (most of the time pulling his face or his "hair")he was homeless at a young age,went through foster care many times and never went to high school.His ex Darcel Cerise,who's the daughter of a deceased drug lord,met him and fell in love with him.years after he replaced her father and forgot about Taffelers and joined Madames Morada's mob.He,Ruthleen and parsnip are not enemies but simple rivals.all of his underlings are candy people

Bearskullpine A new bigger version of my earlier drawing In the Finnish mythology killing of a bear was followed by a great feast in honour of the bear (peijaiset), where a substantial part of the celebrations consisted of convincing the bear's spirit that it had died accidentally and hadn't been murdered. Afterwards, the bear's skull was hung high upon a pine tree so its spirit could re-enter the heavens. The bones of the bear were then buried under the pine.

6/10 Morphine, Cure for pain I was challenged to choose 10 music albums that defined my musical buds and I decided to draw them, in no particular order. I would listen to this one on a loop in the mornings when I was in high school. Daily drawing 676

I used a metal tip to a mechanical pencil and dragged it along the paper to create the highlight effects in her hair. It is effective but irreversible, so I don't do it very often.

Beer Label design incorporating lots of local facts/things to do with the area it's brewed in. Sailing, windsurfing, big lake, spitfire plane, invading shrimps, highland cattle, sunken church, snakes, beer swilling octopus (ok I made that one up).

Wanted to keep it simple while working on blending watercolors. I hope the highlights are nice, and the muted palette makes you reflect.

The higher up you go in the mountains the larger the carvings become. No one knows why
