This was my first sumi ink artwork I made for my introduction to art class a few years ago. I used a bamboo reed pen to make this design. It depicts a puppet cutting the strings and liberating herself! I hope you like my artwork!

Omens : Crocodile. The Indians believe that crocodiles make a moaning and sighing noise like a human being in distress to attract their victims. They also have a curious superstition that the creatures shed their famous "tears" over a victim's head after they have devoured the body - and then polish off the head to complete the meal! I started a project of hunt illustrations, where things in the image need to be found. In this, the objects were: Lost iPhone, murder weapon, portal to another world, glass half empty and banana. (This is the pre-digital illustration which I don’t usually share but felt like a change!)
