Beer Label design incorporating lots of local facts/things to do with the area it's brewed in. Sailing, windsurfing, big lake, spitfire plane, invading shrimps, highland cattle, sunken church, snakes, beer swilling octopus (ok I made that one up).

When observing, it is easy to see an image erected when people are working in the field, along with the early morning time, so it has created a beautiful picture. Each object in the picture has its own highlight, full of attractive looks. Although it is a picture of a simple landscape about people in the countryside, every little detail is meticulously painted by the author. This painting is owned by the author "Uilliam Potter". Title: Never Forget. A quick piece I made today. I wanted to go abstract so the viewer can put their own meaning into the piece, but each paint stroke I made I had September 11th in mind. Digitally painted with watercolor in Rebelle 5 on a simple white canvas and sent over to PS.
Painted my favorite cartoon characters from when I was a kid as part of an Instagram live paint jam with my friend and comic Artist Michael Chuah. We both did our own versions. It was fun.
The result is not as good as I imagined. But anyway I want to share it, because:
- others may find it great,
- art taste is subjective,
- even if it's bad, you can receive a constructive critique or tips on how to improve it.
Don't be afraid to share your failures. They push you forward. You can learn a lot from them.
Painted as my final project for my Painting Environments course. I was super nervous about tackling this one, but learned a ton taking this course. I'm happy to move on to the next one. :-)
