I like to carry around a tiny sketchbook. Something to jot down ideas, or scribble out a concept, with little worry about the technical application.

THE MARTIAN from Stories for Nighttime and Some for the Day by Ben Loory. "The three of them sit down to dinner. Halfway through the soup course, a Martian enters the room. It takes the astronaut’s napkin and lays it across his lap. Then it turns around and walks out. I thought you said you didn’t see any Martians, says the woman. Not on the moon, says the astronaut, no." https://www.instagram.com/p/CgwTsoXOVln/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

Biking is my second love. And I should do more images like this as my imagination flies when I bike.

I had to improvise a bit. I found myself rummaging for colored pencils so I drew my outfit today with the ones I had. Notice that I am painting because I’m out of pencils. My oversized sweatshirt is really a periwinkle blue.

This piece was heavily inspired by the amazing designs of Ian McQue and it was one of the very first test-drawings on my remarkable 2 e-Ink tablet. So I was still in the process of adapting to this new tech :)

Even though The Squid Game was released in the fall, it is still in the top 10 of Netflix! We think it’s well-deserved because this series has made a real breakthrough in Korean drama history.
