Situational awareness is important these days. Pre-pandemic, I sometimes take my doodles to coffee shops during my lunch breaks and relax for half an hour or so by mindlessly scribbling/shading with my Bic pen. People usually leave me alone but this drawing made me realise that not everyone wants to see a man drawing a naked man. A few people took exception to my subjects’ lack of clothing and made their displeasure known by telling me. I have many odd objects in my house, but I think the oddest is the 3D printed model of my teeth (with my braces on them). Long story short, these had to be made when I got my retainers, but I was lucky enough to be able to take them and my braces home. (Don't worry, I thoroughly disinfected and cleaned the braces before gluing them on.) I genuinely forgot I had this, so finding them kind of startled me at first.
I found a Gap ad in a 90s Vanity Fair magazine; the background was completely white, perfect for doodling a background on it. I also highlighted the woman's freckles and lips with a bronze Sharpie.
Created using pen and ink, this drawing mimics a fine art painting I saw in a museum. I loved the figures and their fluid movements, so I doodled it down in my sketchbook and later inked it in for a refined black and white artwork. Check out more on my website ArtsyDrawings.com!
green predator took the original piece and used polaroid digital effect. DONE 2023 with color pencils on 11x17 bristol. original for sale $250. After I did private commission of the predator for customer (by the way it is in my gallery) . I did not like how that turned out so i got pissed so i created another version of my predator . I feel this came out better now i can be sane.
