These drawings were inspired by a woman's testimony I listened to on Touching The Afterlife here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2F8S2mj0J4g I was on the fence about posting this one, but I've been very moved by the testimonies of those who prior in their lives seemingly had no hope. While you live and breathe, there is hope.

Using an old blank work diary as a sketchbook. This piece is mostly done in 2B & 6B graphite pencil with outlines in black ink.

Something is brewing in my head and I can't get it to stop. Sooooo, I'm thinking a supernatural feel similar to Gravity Falls. I'm not sure where these two are going, but we doing something.

Once I found a boat made of bark that was called Darling. It was very beautifully made with a hold, rudders, a wheelhouse and cloth sails. But Daddy said I didn't have to find out who owned it. So some of these images are concepts covers for Monster. I'm done setting dates. When I finish it, I finish it. But until then, concepts. Monster is going to be story based on mental health with a mix of religion. I have stories inside and they are scratching to get out. But the struggles are real and I'm trying to get the images out and onto the screen, paper, and ink.

Final assemblage - manual drawing enriched with digital elements, A5 format The punch line: An external, independent force ruined the morning by shattering the cup. Fate took its share. The question is: Does this same external interference have the power to destroy the rest of the day? Does one rotten fruit have the chance to rob all the others of their flavor? The sun will shine no matter the situation. Choice and acceptance don't have to be mutually exclusive!
