personally love how much is happening in here. thinking of making actual thing out of it. what do you think?

My daughter is loving my weird floppy cats so I drew a colouring page for her although I am thinking I might end drawing a few more and making it into a little book for her. I can't wait to see how she colours this in :)

Found this quote a few days back, and it really resonated with me. The message is clear that we really shouldn't wait for the "perfect moment" or spend too much time looking for the "easy way" as neither of these options truly exist, they are in effect excuses for not getting on and doing what needs to be done. in order to achieve our goals. If we are honest with ourselves "now" is always the best time, and doing rather than thinking about doing is the way forward. I was thinking the other day about what got me interested in art and remembered that I used to draw these DBZ characters all the time. (Now not having the time to do much of anything and character drawings are pretty simple) Knowing what I know now I decided to do a quick sketch, mainly because I need to practice my line work.

I was assigned in art class to draw/paint/whatever something to do with reset... at first I, just like everyone else, pictured a reset button. After some thinking though, I remembered how each time my family moved from state to state, it was like I had a reset button, a fresh new start. Also, haha fun fact, the random sharpie lines were a result from listening to fast pace rock.

The five part illustration series Don't Lose Yourself. You can lose yourself in many ways; Consumerism, Heartbreak, American Culture, Loneliness, Giving In, Giving Up, Settling. The five part illustration series, “Don’t Lose Yourself” highlights the chaos we don’t notice around or within ourselves when we’re disconnected away from reality. Sinking so deep, we forget our own values or who we are. The collection reminds us to stay within ourselves by showcasing the dangers of what happens when we don’t.

Just some preliminary designs for a character I created named Razor. All in pencil and some marker for color mapping.

Next up is the finalized sketch. Specifically when I'm working on prints and commissions I do a detailed final sketch. It makes the inking/painting process a lot faster.

This is part of my daily Sketchgrind day 20. Study of chickens in the early morning.Spring is slowly arriving, I am thinking of the time we had mini chicks. So small and so fluffy.. I am missing my chickens!! Its like having a fish tank in your garden - so calming and funny to watch.

Warm up inking practice doodle. I was practicing a certain inking technique for a commission.

An image to be odd in these waves of loud expressive words. Walking creature amused in the dance that extends to the thinking realms deeper. Relaxed be the sight of a wonderful ride.

To consume, witness vibrant hallucinations through dark struggles in life. What fears must lurk here? Alone in tundra steps further, thinking of a different age.

A very random doodle I did for warm-up while working on commissions. I don't think it helped much other than working with little line work and stark lighting.
