Digital painting using Affinity photo to test out an intresting technic I learned a few times ago from a well known artist, turned out to be really intersting
Pink tulips on toned tan sketch paper. This was my first time burnishing. I used the toned tan paper so that I could better see the effects of burnishing with a white pencil. I used Prismacolor soft core pencils.
So here Is a random doodle I did. But that’s not all why I posted this. I grew up with my dad doing art around me. He’s a makeup artist. He is on here too see if you can find him LOL. He is such a good artist. I guess I had that artist shame of my art not being good enough. I always thought that. Until I realized recently that I have my own style. His style is his! I realized that my art is amazing but I don’t always think that because I watched his art. Also to add, I am not a patient artist most of my art is done in a day. That’s why it’s not the best it could be.
I'm a big fan of DSaF. I love the characters (kebab boy is my personal favorite), and I cried once I found out that they all freaking die in the end. But not like a little bit of programming can't do the trick, right? I'm using the same sense of Glitchtrap (aka not really being William, but rather an AI or sorts of him) to bring back (a replica of) Jack, Dave, and Henry in the modern world. They're stuck in springlock suits right now, surrounded by wires, as somebody works on them. Dave is in the Bonnie suit, Jack in the Fox suit, and Henry in the Freddy suit. The man who is working on them plans to open a pizzaria, and work alongside the three to create the "Fazfrick's experience". He will wear the Chica suit, because nobody else wants to be the girl. This was the first ever attempt at a pet portrait. A friend brought over a few canvases and I broke out my paints and just started having a go at it. Turned out better than I thought!
Mojo is... Well...cute. despite the knife, the swamp and the bugs.
At least, he is not digging up a maggot or a dung beetle this time.

Congrats to anyone else who took part in inktober this year! I focused on combining witches inspired by different types of teas and I had so much fun! I’m conquering my irrational fear of side profiles and I think it’s working, I’ve been really liking side profiles lately and finding them easier to do. I experimented on this piece with adding freckles (they’re a feature in all of my inktober sketches but I haven’t liked how freckles have looked when I’ve dotted them in with a pen or brush) and uh, I guess it was kind of a success? Next time I’ll use my lighter shading colour for them, as I used the ink I use for my lines and it turned out really dark and concentrated, but I think they’re cute! (and I have ink sprays everywhere)
I finally finished this piece for my Aunt. It was based on a goofy picture she sent me. I am pleased with the depth I achieved and can see improvements. I am not most experienced with portraits or anatomy/characters.
