Time for a Deadpool tribute, hopefully I did the merc with a mouth justice here… Also? The Deadpool Samurai manga are brilliant!

I wanted to do a piece that turns an insult into something more motivational. For context, to be called a strawberry is associated with being weak and sensitive, as strawberries are soft and easily bruised.

I entered this one in the pre/post quarrantine challenge but it is part of my new journal. which will be full of flowers and flower quotations. Using Derwent inktense pencils.

Posca pens in the black Dylusions square journal, using an Art by Marlene stamp as a starting point

All rights reserved. — Artwork was made using a black Sharpie marker, a Ranger white opaque pen, a Precise V5 Rolling Ball extra fine black pen, and a sheet of paper from a Moleskine journal. The piece was then copied in black and white using an HP copier. Working on drawing a piece for a friends birthday. Had fun playing around with some ideas. Very rough sketching no where near final piece.
