I'm working on finishing this with watercolor and pen. It symbolizes growing up and the important relationships between old and young. Critiques are appreciated.
Long ago a banana fell into an unknown bay and was washed out to sea. Through strange circumstances this creature evolved into an air breathing, free-swimming, sun loving, epipelagic level dwelling, migratory creature that reproduces by budding. It is rarely seen. If a predator is sensed nearby the animal folds in its fins and tail and if ever observed it is considered a water soaked piece of fruit and is usually avoided.
(Saw a banana lying on the counter and it seemed to be looking at me. A quick photo and some manipulation and art work in Procreate brought forth a Musa Marinus.)
And this is the painting re-done (Posted original the other day). Original painting was done in 2006! I'm sorting through my art--what is worth a little more work--and what cannot be saved!!! This has been an emotionally challenging project. For one thing, in many of the paintings slated for re-do, I'm looking into my past.
While "piggy-backing" at a friend's watercolor class this afternoon the subject of mushrooms came up. This is my quick rendering of a mushroom in Procreate on my first gen iPad using my Sensu stylus. Shadows will be addressed in next week's class but unfortunately I will be gone. I definitely need more practice with shadows.

I was in love with Mustang since first drive. Lol not in Real Life . My first sight was in NFS Most Wanted. After watching Razor's modified look. I was soo in love . Thats how it started.
It's an Acrylic Painting. Its been almost a year I haven't tried Acrylic. So thought to paint an automobile and there I found my love Mustang

Claire here with another species I designed! This is a digital drawing of what I call a Gormadon. It's likeness is most like a bear, but it has spikes and frills kind of like a dragon or dinosaur. I imagine this species to be quite big if it were real. Perhaps about the size of an adult elephant. Took me a few days to complete because of other life events, and I tend to go slow, especially when I get caught up in the details. But I was discovering this was something I was eager to get back to; thinking about it through the day and figuring out how to finish it. Right now it’s on pause as I think how to do the background. :)
