Another piece from my vernal pools/treescapes studies I have been working on in correlation to my interest in local creature found in our woodlands. I adopted the use of a circle one night, wanting to frame out an idea/sketch and a wine glass happened to be close by. Since then I have used it often, loving the circle aspect.

i took a landscape course; our project was a mystic, foggy landscape. I went a bit different adding in the figure looking out to the island

It wasn't the rancid water or the snagging weeds that deterred travellers from the Old Bog Way: it was the endless sense of being watched.

I drew a London Street Building, source from pinterest using the freehand sketch method. The story behind this sketch is that I drew it with a hesitation feeling, you can feel it when you see how my lines were drawn to create the brick texture.

A fantasy little rounded house in the forest. It could be a part of some fairy tale. Who lives there?

The result is not as good as I imagined. But anyway I want to share it, because: - others may find it great, - art taste is subjective, - even if it's bad, you can receive a constructive critique or tips on how to improve it. Don't be afraid to share your failures. They push you forward. You can learn a lot from them.

On another planet the gravity is different and waves behave differently. Dragons skim over the chaotic oceans looking for prey fish.

Mixed media drawing. The sky can spread oppressively across a flat landscape like the meadows of the midwestern United States. In this drawing I wanted to evoke that sense as a backdrop for a trio of Weirds, soothsayers of folklore.

A colour sketch in preparation for a larger piece. The scene is from woodland very close to my home on a spring morning during last year's lockdown.

A 4x6" colour sketch of Sgwyd Gwladys in preparation for a much larger piece. Sgwyd Gwladys is a beautiful waterfall - one of many on the Neath 'Waterfall Country' walking route starting in Pontneddfechan.

This stream was in the foothills of Cadair Idris. I took a step away from my precision sketching to do something a bit faster and loose.

I feel like my landscapes have very traditional colors so i tried to make these look bright and exaggerated but still hold the same base color. Let me know what you think.

As evident from it's name, I have made a lake and autmny trees surrounding it....

Painted as my final project for my Painting Environments course. I was super nervous about tackling this one, but learned a ton taking this course. This is my first full landscape project that I painted for a skillshare course. It was frustrating at times but I really enjoyed working through the multiple steps of this painting. I wanted to see what I could do it I pushed myself and I am happy with the final painting. I need to focus some more study on trees in the future, I like how the foreground tree came out, the forest edge was much more difficult. Another version of lantern illustration. I wanted to redraw the last illustration. But I changed the concept while drawing. It's a beauty of creativity - it can surprise. The most important thing here is that I feel so happy when I draw illustrations in this style
