The result is not as good as I imagined. But anyway I want to share it, because:
- others may find it great,
- art taste is subjective,
- even if it's bad, you can receive a constructive critique or tips on how to improve it.
Don't be afraid to share your failures. They push you forward. You can learn a lot from them.
This is the 4rth piece that I painted during my train journey. I painted this scene after getting mesmerised by the view from the train window. It was Day 1, evening, 4 pm. We were passing through mountains and lakes. A group of girls ( students ) got excited when I showed some of my paintings. So I gifted one of them this (●'◡'●)
It's an old fanart drawing I did of "Feel Good Inc" by Gorillaz! The small black spots are holes from pinning it to my wall with tacks.
I can't believe I forgot to post this...it's realllly old.
A landscape painting is painted with oil colors and the owner of the picture is: Tran Anh Tu said that he took advantage of the remaining oil colors to make a majestic and beautiful picture, poetic like this. The painting was uploaded on December 19, 2017. The images here are copyright of the artist who created them. These landscape paintings are completely owned by photographer Tran Anh Tu. For our 10th anniversary this past Monday, we went on a hike at Land's End. It was cold and blustery! Got a quick sketch in from the labyrinth. Rain lines added as it started to rain by my son.
Second post here on Doodle Addict. I don't know why but this reminds me of Spirited away....or just studio Ghibli. All their art just makes me feel like i'm actually in that place; i can feel the breeze, hear and feel the grass.....Anyways, that's the image i get in my head when making this. Feel free to give feedback or comment on my art, i would appreciate it!
I'm starting to learn how to paint with watercolors. This is my first picture. I wish I did the moon better, but I'm happy with how it came out otherwise.
One of my first landscape experiments in Photoshop. Whereas I previously was working in GIMP. I just wanted to experiment with values and distance and fog and mist, etc. The female figure adds some story to the scene.
I'm working on details and silhouettes.
It's the first concept of illustration with a lantern. I'm going to do more in that style with even more details.
Redrawing finished works is an excellent opportunity to develop skills and see progress.
Have a lovely Wednesday!
