There is really nothing more I can say about this than it is truly just a doodle on a notepad while I was on the phone. The more I do this though, the more ideas I get for larger work.

I started messing about with line and wash. I really enjoyed the speed and looseness of working on this piece. In hindsight, I'm wondering if it would be worth working on a larger, more considered version as there is quite a lot of nice texture that is missing here. Pen & watercolour on watercolour paper (4x6").

A whimsical illustration of a large horn-whale creature with fangs, an anchor tattoo on his fin, and a tattoo of how many ships he has sunk on his back, with a whale rider perched on its back, is surrounded by gentle waves. The contrast between the massive creature and the tiny rider suggests a playful narrative. The muted colors and simple lines create a charming and imaginative scene.

A 4x6" colour sketch of Amroth Beach, Pembrokeshire in preparation for a much larger piece. The light that day was gorgeous, but the level of detail in the distance really could do with a larger canvas to make the most of it.

Jung here. Done 2022 with Color pencils on 81/2 x 11 comicbook board backing. This is my character that i have created and it is part 2 of the original gas face that i had created. One day I went to my comic book shop and I was looking around and i saw this comicbook board backings,which is a bit larger than regular backings cuz it is for magazine size backing boards when I asked the worker at the comic book shop he said they are not selling those backings so I asked him can I have some and he said yes, so I used one of the backings on the backside to draw this character of mine,but I noticed as i was working on the piece the backing surface of the paper start to peel off and it was not durable at all. As you can see you will see some tiny peeled off spots of the paper in the artwork. Version 1 of the Altitone band member, Preistor. His color scheme went from blue (from the prototype vesion) to red (this version, version 1) to blue again (version 2 and onwards). Once again, this guy has been left to rot in a storage unit, somewhere in Jester's workshop. Another note, Jester's workshop is actually quite large, with several hallways, and open spaces. A creature that lurks in the unused halls of Ringmaster's Pizza Hall. You see, Ringmaster's used to be a school --- a very large school, at that. And only a very small area of that school is currently used for the public. Things lurk in the dark in the unused parts. I mean... but just look at this guy's HAIR, though. It's on fleek.

A person is depicted wearing a large pet recovery cone around their neck, trying to check his smartphone with the words "Digital Detox" prominently displayed. The image humorously comments on the idea of needing a barrier to reduce phone usage.

Patternbank is a large company who sell seamless patterns, mine too. They have nice mock ups, like this dress. The motif is a flower bouquet in a pot with geometric patterns.

A colour study for a larger piece. Unfortunately with the larger piece, I screwed up with the thick over thin rule and consequently, the paint cracked after a few months. Frustrated at having to start it again, but lesson learnt.

Elias Rosenshaw 8/29/2025 Mixed media on toned tan paper. Starting next week, I'm going back to college. I'm very excited for my courses, especially art & writing. It will be a great opportunity to explore my curiosities, improve my art skills, and grow as a person. I will share my art assignments if my instructors allow it. I would also like to write a little about each piece, which may be required for my assignments anyway. Lately, I've been inspired by fantasy & fairytale artwork. I think fantasy & horror will make good focuses for my pre-BFA portfolio. This was a little experiment with a fairytale aesthetic. One of my goals is to use limited art supply sets & swap out colours as they run out. I feel the first colours I picked out fit with aesthetic well. I'm proud of this drawing, especially the dress & the night sky. However, I can see some areas that I should've done differently. I'm not happy with the proportions & foreshortening of the limbs. Also, I shouldn't have used a background colour for the flowers. I added the colour to cover up a smear from the watercolour. I should avoid making large areas of solid colour, especially with my coloured pencils. I am learning & improving.

This was my big project this weekend, my first attempt at a large full body horse. The picture was requested by a horse lover like myself and I can’t wait to give it to her. Done in pencil on an 18x24in sketch pad.

Victory Through Prayer Medium: Water Color Markers on Illustration Board Size 2' x 4' Year completed: 1991 This illustration is part of a collection of artwork I did while in the military entitled, "The Army Years", I served in the Army National Guard for 5 years, and the regular Army for 4 years. One of the main reasons I got out of the military is because I didn't have much time to do my artwork. While I was stationed in Germany I did a few posters, and banners for a German/ American Playhouse, and I was in a European art show. This illustration was done during The Desert Shield / Desert Storm, during this war, many soldiers were afraid that our military equipment would fail to function due to the desert sand. While I was stationed in Germany, I attended a Christian hospitality house, that ministered to military personnel, and their families. I knew and heard of soldiers who died or were wounded in the war, we prayed for God's protection for those we knew were in harm's way. I believe the reason the casualties were low for the collision force is that God gave them a swift victory on the battlefield. No one should think that it was just might, and smart bombs, Iraq had the 4th largest military in the world. The Bible teaches that God causes the rise and the fall of nations. Decoding the symbolism : The " v " with lightning bolt shooting out of it =God giving the collision forces victory over Iraq's military. The large bold eagle with the arrows in its right talon, and with it's left talon open to attack, = the U.S. attacking Iraq. The banner made up of the flag of the collision, tie to the eagle's open talon= The U.S. leading the collision nation in the war against Iraq. The necklace with the cross attached to it, around the eagle's neck = God protect around the U.S. forces, the result of intercessory prayer of Christians. The flag of Iraq illustrated in the shape of the geological area mass of country, being shattered by the lighting = God judging Iraq, by giving the collision power to conquer Iraq and occupy her land.
