This jazzy creature was inspired by the many butterflies in my garden. The weather has been so sunny and warm recently. What better way to while away the lockdown hours than to spend time with nature.

Chari is one of my favorite folks to draw! I have been drawing a lot more while out and about. Using the cheap graph composition notebook, non-expensive art supplies and going to a coffee shop to draw people. Sometimes I can get a likeness with my mind, eyes, hands and draftsmanship and other times it is the "many moods of my subject." :-) This is a place (in my book) where I can learn from my perceived fails. ****The images are sideways! I know this. I do not know how to make them portrait orientation. They started out as portrait-scaped orientation and now they are landscape. Well..... Okay then. The figurative landscape. Hahaahhha! Cry. I even tried the visa versa. Nope. They want to be on their sides.

Beware of the desert island anglerfish, which lies in wait for shipwrecked sailors and curious cruise ships.

I changed the composition, types of silhouettes, and background texture a few times. I didn't have any expectations about the finished work. It was a creative flow with many changes. I think the creative process looks like this. Don't be afraid to try. If you make your art digitally, it's simple. You can: - create a new layer, - use shortcut Ctrl+Z. In traditional art, it depends on the art supplies you use. Sometimes you can try more times. Sometimes you need to start again. But any attempt is better than giving up.

Ta-da! Finally done! This was inspired by my annual back to school shopping trip in August with my mom, my siblings, and my grandma. The sign is a bit of a clue to that, the heart is similar for he logo of one of my favorite stores (until they closed last month), and the tan thing in the corner reminds me of the dusty playground we stop at between stores. The hair clip, butterflies, and purple corner (it's really a hair extension) are all from my favorite accessory store. The railing is for the walkway between stores and I don't really have to explain the shirt, skirt, pants, and shopping bag. No trip is complete without a bucket of pretzels to eat on the way home! Anyway, I hope you like my art!

It's Our Lady of Amercia! It's one of my favorite devotions to Our Blessed Mama in Christ. She called the United States to Purity and a good Family life. The messages also focused on a devotion to the Holy Family (Earthly Trinity) and a focus on the Trinitarian Indwelling (Since the Holy Spirit cannot be separated from the Father and the Son it goes to show that the whole Trinity has a part in our interior life). I made this with watercolor, a touch of white/tan acrylics and a lil black pen dab for the pupils. I lost $15,000 in a crypto scam that left me feeling completely naive and heartbroken. It happened when I saw a tweet from what I thought was a verified account for a famous tech billionaire @Official_ ElonMusk_. The tweet promised a 24-hour Ethereum giveaway claiming that any ETH sent to a wallet would be doubled and returned instantly. The post was full of replies from bots saying it had worked which made it seem real.In a moment of impulsive excitement I sent 5 ETH my entire savings that I had been carefully accumulating for over a year. At first I waited with hope. Hours passed then a day. Nothing happened. I replied to the tweet and sent a desperate DM. Then the account disappeared entirely. The realization that I had just sent my life savings into a digital void was devastating.I felt too ashamed to tell anyone. Reporting the scam felt useless.
