I stared and stared at her until I had stared her into little pieces and I thought, you're big and scraggy like a carthorse and nobody can hunt for you in the grass and you couldn't hide anywhere because you can be seen the whole time and you can't surprise anybody and make them feel good! You have completely spoilt our games for no reason because you can't play games yourself! O alas and alack! No one wants your presents. He doesn't want them! You're nobody's surprise, and you can't understand because you're not an artist! And so I went a little closer and humiliated her by saying the most terrible thing of all : amateur! You're an amateur! You're not a real artist!

A vibrant fruit bowl filled with a variety of colorful mix of red fruits like strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. The bright, bold colors create a striking contrast against the background.
This is a digital drawing of a species I came up with. This is also my first attempt of making a base. I'm very pleased with how it turned out and I plan to only get better. Please do not use or claim the species as your own. I worked hard and all things I create are cherished and made with lots of care. Because I have a base, I'm open to color ideas. #28 - A collection of ballpoint pen sketches drawn on printer paper & scanned. This is what my lines look like when I'm not using a stabilizer in digital software to get the nicest clean lines. I tried to separate my scanned lines from the various shades of off-white that the scanner picked up. I adjusted the brightness and contrast levels in photoshop but I'm not very knowledgeable on how to achieve the best results.
This was the best sketchbook I ever owned. It appeared mysteriously and within a year, was gone to the wind. These are the back pages where I was exploring different water and alcohol marker brushes and ballpoint on the amazing vellum-like paper.
Unexpected Visitor
This color sketch was done for a pumpkin carving design I did for the Chadds Ford Historical Society Great Pumpkin Carving contest. The sketch is a a lot more impressive then what you can see here ,unfortunately when the picture was scanned ,The Kinkos sale person chopped half of the image that shows the hands, one point at you, and the other holding the sickle,and the flowing rope hanging off the Grim Reaper's arms. I spent a couple of week just studying skeleton to do this sketch. I was Inspire to do this design by the thought that came across my mine about death. We are like helpless babies playing Peek A Boo when it come to our knowledge of the time death will drop by to pick us off. Some people who are terminally ill and are told by the doctor they have only a couple of days to live,must feel like the Grim Reaper is sitting right in front of them with his face hidden behind his hands, and when you lest expected he opens his hand like to great door turning on their hinges to open up to reveal him sticks his face in their's and shrieking ,"Peek A Boo," and followed by a hideous laugh .

"If you're a goblin in need of a smoke, you know where to go" Part of a series I've started with monsters in the modern world, this is the digital work I've liked the most so far, but I'd appreciate feedback on anything I could improve on.
This is my first full landscape project that I painted for a skillshare course. It was frustrating at times but I really enjoyed working through the multiple steps of this painting. I wanted to see what I could do it I pushed myself and I am happy with the final painting. I need to focus some more study on trees in the future, I like how the foreground tree came out, the forest edge was much more difficult. I wanted to draw Ash but without his bat features. Ash takes on bat like features in his orignal concept. I will be keeping those features, because I like how it looks. Every color I used in this picture was used for a reason. I had to do some research, so the colors would reflect is personality and his role he plays within the world in which I created him in.
Colors with purpose:
-Purple
-Green
-Red
-Orange
Ladies and Gents, I present....Slater! My newest character that I brought back to life. Although this was not his original design, but I think I dig it. Slater is an alien species (species not identified yet) so therefore hence why his ears look like that. Slater is charismatic, sly, generally laid back but unfortunately a womanizer. But there is one....one who is constantly rejecting him and keeping him at arms length. She will be introduced at a later time, I'm still working on her design. I have so many plans for this guy.
This is my first painting I completed, made using acrylic on stretched canvas. It took me roughly 8 hours to complete.

I think we all have been there. Its not that I don't like socializing, but I have anxiety when I'm placed in a large group of people. But once I get to know ya, its smooth sailing from there.
This is someone's OC I drew (the design is not mine. No stealing please.) It's also one of my first attempts at drawing a dragon-like creature. This one, I'm pretty proud of. However, I need practice on drawing scales. Getting them to look right is more difficult than I thought. Overall, super happy with this picture. I hope the image makes your day a little more magical.
I have a little Moleskine (3.5 x 5.5) notebook that I only draw skulls in. I started in November of 2013 and I do one whenever the urge strikes me. It's not like a skull-a-day thing but sometimes I do get into a period where I will draw one every day for a while then I won't draw any for months. I even lost it for a while and was very sad. I think the longest gap between pages has been a year. This is the most recent skull, drawn on 05.28.2018. Most of them are posted on my Instagram but you have to scroll back a ways to get at the bulk of them.

These are 5 out of 12 images I did while processing the necessity of healing from life lessons. Heartbreak is prevalent throughout all the levels of tragedies in our lives. At times, the mourning period feels forced-- I never really want my wounds to heal because I feel they're the last of the love I carried for that "thing". The process feels like gold pouring into my gapping heart and I can only scream as it sears through my veins. It hurts to heal. It hurts that it has to happen.
This was a project I did and totally forgot about. It's a Notan style dragon I did for a 2d composition class. I kinda like out it turned out. This was my first major foray into illustrator. Time: 3 hours Medium: Illustrator on Mac
DADDY LOVES ALL ANIMALS BECAUSE THEY don't contradict him. He likes ones that are furry best.
And they love him, too, because they know that they can do just as they like.
But it's quite a different matter with Females.
If you make statues of them they become women but as long as they remain Females things are difficult. They can't even pose properly and they talk much too much.
