This drawing was done as a request for someone, the horse that I drew is an award winning show horse named Black Prince. This was my second attempt at realism using black fine liners and pencils, personally I think I didn't do too bad.
I missed the deadline to post. I drew this early in the day but I waited after work, late at night to post. I'm starting to realize that I need to do these early in the day, especially before work but I decided to live on the edge and see how close to midnight I can post ,got sloppy, and then this happened.....lesson learned :(
This is a mashup of art styles. I'm not even sure how to describe it. Started with the main mushroom that is outlined and then went crazy around it. Also experimented with water reflections a bit.
#27 Plants vs Zombies fanart - This was an old piece I drew during a live stream on magma.com a few years ago. I got around to finishing it last night in ibisPaint and then made some color adjustments in Photoshop. I stink at coloring in my opinion and I usually don't color my line drawings because I get a little bit antsy staying in the lines. The following characters I drew are: The Tree is named Mourning Wood - which is a mini-boss from the game Terraria, the sunflower is from Conker's Bad Fur Day, The Piranha Plant is a recurring enemy in the Super Mario franchise, Peashooter and Puff-shroom are from Plants vs. Zombies, Ivysaur from Pokemon, Water Lily Siren from Shantae, the toon witch Samantha from the tv show Bewitched (intro), and Godzilla.

Trying to learn more about Kay Nielsen's style. He illustrated folk and fairy tales in the early 1900s for Grimm and Disney and others. I love his dark/moody style with everything so flowy, elongated, elegant, and tragic. And his amazing compositions.
#13 Caveman & Dinosaur Doodles - A collection of my recent dinosaur doodles inspired by the game Joe & Mac (caveman ninja) for snes/arcade. Drawn online at Magma.com using ipad pro (no Ai and no pressure sensitivity).
Here's a traditional art sketch card, produced on a 4 X 5 inch blank licensed card. The cut lines are set at 2.5 X 2.3 standard trading card size. Artwork is Copic marker and Prismacolor colored pencil. This card was created as a random insert for the 2018 Rittenhouse Archives Star Trek Captains collection Card series. #09 Ducktales Zelda Breath of the Wild Crossover - Someone I was chatting with on magma.com was saying he likes ducks and zelda so I came up with this. It was drawn online/live 2023 on magma.com with iPad pro (no pressure sensitivity and no Ai).
