This is just an idea I'm playing with after I recently reconnected with an old friend. He's a painter but has this huge passion for mushroom collecting. I have few more ideas for a little series now.
During my school days where we were asked to draw a still life of objects we want to go on holiday with. I have chosen a purse, some slippers and lots of cute little things. The colours look fantastic and it is a mixed medium art as I used colours, pencil and acrylics for this.
DAY ONE OF INTENSIVE ART TRAINING! Okay, back up, calm down... So! A little background. I am going into INTENSIVE ART TRAINING because I'm not the best at drawing humans. I want to get better so I can draw people, characters, and find my style. There will be 50 days, and this is day one. This drawing came from an old sketchbook from middle school. I love Inquisitormaster. Her channel is awesome. I wanted to draw a famous person and my friends gave me this. Its a little sketchy but i hope u guys like it. Also im still a beginner so please give me some tips in the comments.
A very random doodle I did for warm-up while working on commissions. I don't think it helped much other than working with little line work and stark lighting.
‘Anatomy of a Steelside’
A little something related to a book I’m writing, ‘Nighthammer’ – in the world of my book, various factions wage war via flying battleships known colloquially in-universe as ‘steelsides’.
These flying platforms are essentially a science-fantasy version of early/mid 20th century navies in our world. Large propellers inside funnels keep the thing flying, while huge, side-mounted paddles push the steelside, ponderously, through the skies.
I’m still figuring out some of the looks and some of the tech, but it always helps to have your own schematics!
What happens when I recreate the vibe of a non-human OC as a human, lots of messy experiments going here. It turned out much better than I thought though, as I have very little confidence in drawing humans.
