This is my contribution to a Diversity and Unity Mural. The meaning behind it is how we are all different and have our own backgrounds, but we're all connected to each other like the roots show. We are stronger unified, and our progression in making the world a better place is like this plant, it can only grow with care and under the right conditions. Together we can make a better future, while still keeping our roots because of their importance to our identities.
I have had an ongoing project called Hybrid Mythologies. Inspired by stories and mythological creatures, tales from different traditions and parts of the world, I have been playing with emergent stories, characters and creatures that incorporate different elements. It is really a kind of spontaneous, intuitive journey and play of associations - oftentimes surprising to myself in what emerges. This year I am planning to publish an artbook entitled Hybrid Mythologies and if it all goes according to plan, it should be done some time in May. I will post process from this book.
One day I was watching Aliens, Predator ,and AVP things and It just make me get so inspired. I love those franchise to start with ,but gosh getting exposed to those franchises again just pouring art juice on me to get me so inspired to create as you this art piece. I wanted to have minime alien coming out of adult aline chest instead of cliche baby alien coming to make it different than what people expect. I just wish I had Artist grade color pencils instead of student grade I used on my color pencil art pieces, but soon or later I want to get artists quality color pencils. I am dying to try Polychronos color pencils. It is oil based color pencils. I been using wax based,but polychronos are expensive even more so than Prismacolors. If i want to save money and i gotten this brand before . It is Staedler triangle coloe pencils. They sell this stadeler color pencils of 48 colors for $13 at walmart.com. I might get that one I dunno. I do wana get Polychronos if not prismacolor but anyways Here is the art work using shitty color pencils. It seems like this scan looks better than my originals cuz i scan it and bring it to Photo impression software that came with the scanner to boost a bit of contrast cuz if u did not know student grade color pencils have less pigementations and more white fillers so u cannot make dark really nice dark or hightlight really nice strong highlight like artist quality color pencils can bring. It has been a while since my last upload, and also since my last finished thing. My studies aren’t giving me much free time at the moment. But here‘s a little practice for painting digital using Procreate on the iPad. I’m still not statisfied with it, but I keep practicing. Thank you for looking at my trial!!! :-)
Cefan Sidan is an immense sandy beach in Carmarthenshire. The site of several shipwrecks, with some to still be found in the sands, the beach stretches for miles. This view is in winter looking towards the Gower.
The plight of the maker is tears from a dropped stitch, the unrelenting mental gauntlet that is bobbin knots, the pain of fingertips burned smooth from the lava-like ooze that hold our creations together. Makers! Know this. You are not alone.
I kind of lied when I said there were only 3 versions of the Altitone animatronics. There are technically four, and these were the first two. They're stored in Jester's workshop. Unlike the V3 and V2 animatronics, the first two sets have red cheeks on the side of their faces that pop out, and contain cameras, instead of the cameras being in their mouth. This was changed, of course. Prototype Elizabeth has one of those police lights in their tail. I thought that would look cool. Jester thought so too, I assume, because he implimented it into Elizabeth. I imagine these guys roaming around in Jester's workshop as he works on them, to keep them from locking up, and all. Also, that is a real cupcake. It is molding on the inside. Can't wait for somebody to make THAT mistake. Drawn with FireAlpaca.
A person in a relaxed posture sits in a bean bag chair, grasping a drink while surrounded by the phrase "It's an only exist kind of day." The color palette is cozy, with muted greens and reds creating an atmosphere of calm contentment.
Another addition to the people who have static for a head. I haven't mentioned it before, but the little gray things around their neck are just to make their scars of when their heads were torn off prettier. I think I'm going to call her Emily.
Imagine a slime from an RPG game, like from Terraria or Dragon Quest. This little guy is like one of them --- but he's colored like neapolitan ice cream! He's cold, too --- but certainly not as tasty. It even has a rolled wafer in its back --- a useful weapon to fend off against foes! These guys want to be on your side, and will try to protect you.

I wanted to draw hand one day so this drawing came about and i love drawing ripples and organic shapes so this background drawing came about and ripples on the hand as well.
