It is reflected in courtesy, good manners, and love for all regardless of race, ethnicity, or religion. Our public conduct should reflect our private selves, our manners should spring from our hearts. To be courteous costs us nothing, but buys us everything. Morality is based on ethics. We should not devalue and undermine others. It is important to preserve and honor each other's dignity if we are to promote a harmonious society. We all wish to have dignity and respect, but often we do so little to obtain it. We can be natural and truthful, real and genuine. We must treat others as we wish to be treated. If we approach someone else's anger with calmness and courtesy, we can often help diffuse that anger and foster cooperation. With sweet words we can lead an elephant by a hair. Dignity also requires that we be truthful, humble, gracious and temperate. Those who lie, cheat, steal, and abuse alcohol and drugs lose all dignity; those who are honest, work hard, and respect themselves and others gain it. Such person can walk with their heads held high. Losing one's wealth is nothing nothing compared with losing one's dignity. The whole measure of excellence is moderation. We can maintain strong morals, high standards, and a great respect and honesty. Truth cannot be buried; truth can set us free. Truth elevates our spirit, softens our souls. Truth is the mother of virtue. Our pride and our shame turn us into liars. We must resist and work hard to maintain our dignity, or regain it once it's been lost. We owe it to ourselves to have happy life, enriched with dignity, respect and peace of mind. We should remember that it means nothing to live without wealth; it means everything to live with dignity. Nobility shows from a distance. It is not offensive to deprive ourselves of wealth; it is offensive to lose our dignity.

I needed some positive vibes, so I painted a moth with a day wing and a night wing. Gouache on watercolour paper.

It's Our Lady of Amercia! It's one of my favorite devotions to Our Blessed Mama in Christ. She called the United States to Purity and a good Family life. The messages also focused on a devotion to the Holy Family (Earthly Trinity) and a focus on the Trinitarian Indwelling (Since the Holy Spirit cannot be separated from the Father and the Son it goes to show that the whole Trinity has a part in our interior life). I made this with watercolor, a touch of white/tan acrylics and a lil black pen dab for the pupils. Just a scribble of a character and his mother.

Ok made the 2nd Mystery of the Mysteries of Light: The Wedding of Cana. Also an important revelation and the prime miracle that started Jesus' "hour". I definately spent much more time on the Baptism because of it's important icon significance but I found some good lil inspiration for this too, a bit more simple but nice. ^_^ Oh and if you don't know the story: John Chapter 2 1 And the third day, there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee: and the mother of Jesus was there. 2 And Jesus also was invited, and his disciples, to the marriage. 3 And the wine failing, the mother of Jesus saith to him: They have no wine. 4 And Jesus saith to her: Woman, what is that to me and to thee? my hour is not yet come. 5 His mother saith to the waiters: Whatsoever he shall say to you, do ye. 6 Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three measures apiece. 7 Jesus saith to them: Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. 8 And Jesus saith to them: Draw out now, and carry to the chief steward of the feast. And they carried it. 9 And when the chief steward had tasted the water made wine, and knew not whence it was, but the waiters knew who had drawn the water; the chief steward calleth the bridegroom, 10 And saith to him: Every man at first setteth forth good wine, and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse. It´s from a dream I had

A steam titan from the elder age, long forgotten. But this mammoth of gears and levers has not fogotten it's purpose. It delves through stone, and rock and mineral and earth. It hasn't stopped since the master's last order. The very nature of this machine is loyalty itself. Sometimes the scavengers follow it, picking up the remains it leaves behind in its search. What is it searching for? The center of the Earth? Nirvana? Hell for us ? Many a strange thing lay in the world of Nornwan. Was it always so? Mayhaps... But to find the answers to these questions, we must do as this steam engine, we forge onward. March on, Untitled Heroes. We are untitled. I watched a virtual wildflower walk yesterday, and it reminded me that it's spring and beautiful things are happening quietly all over the place. This is a plant emerging from the snow at a hot spring in Mammoth on a Valentine's trip just before I found out I was pregnant.

I have drawn this for a piece of poem I had written on a mother and her little son...:)
