This artwork was requested by @lanahyawnuwuw. You asked for people in dresses, I give you people in dresses! Except now I want someone to use this for a movie. I can just imagine one of the trailer scenes: a guy talking to someone and says “what are they gonna do? They’re just girls with guns.” And he proceeds to get shot by one of them who comes into the room. Someone please make this into a movie.
Second drawing of Amy with her arms up. Based on an earlier sketch that I’ve posted. Bic4 Ballpoint Pen, Hello Kitty 10 Colour Ballpoint Pen on 9” x 12” Archival paper. Model: Amy_D
Looking down on the Afon Mellte from its rocky riverbank in Neath's 'Waterfall Country'. I was a little perturbed by the complexity of this scene at first, but soon got into the flow of it. I love doing these wild nature scenes. Uniball Eye Micro on 6x8" sketchbook.
"Whirlwind 24”, an original drawing. Micron pens on archival paper. Size: 4” x 6”. Title, signature, and date in the back of the drawing. This drawing is the 24th in a series of drawings posted over a period of 100 days. The original post date on this drawing was September 24, 2020.
A colour study for a larger piece. Unfortunately with the larger piece, I screwed up with the thick over thin rule and consequently, the paint cracked after a few months. Frustrated at having to start it again, but lesson learnt.
I stumbled across this dilapidated coach house that would have once been part of the Glynhir estate while exploring the public footpaths around Llandybie. I loved the way nature had reclaimed it.
