This is another illustration with someone just sitting outside enjoying the day or night. This is not someone existing it’s just some female character. Great to make this more elaborate in terms of styles while adding beautiful effects.
Woke up in the middle of the night the other week and saw the moon shining bright through the branches outside. It looked pretty neat so I got a picture and recreated it.
Done with lead pencil on 9x12 bristol paper. I did this drawing long time ago and this is how I used to render like I did not know anything. I missed the deadline to post. I drew this early in the day but I waited after work, late at night to post. I'm starting to realize that I need to do these early in the day, especially before work but I decided to live on the edge and see how close to midnight I can post ,got sloppy, and then this happened.....lesson learned :(
I drew Blue again because he's fun to draw,im going to be drawing the other 3 again.I still don't know what names to give them though.They all have these phantom forms where they have no legs,this is the form they mostly use to cause nightmares.I made his eyes to be normal sized since he has a large mouth(all of them do) I drew them too big the first time I drew him.
Happy feast of St. John of the Cross, one of the doctors of the church. Well known for his work on the "Dark night of the Soul" which is different than "Spiritual Desolation" that St. Ignatius talks about. We all have our crosses to bear but we don't always see the fruit. It's a fitting day for me as I got a big cross today but with God's grace I can support it. Please pray for my healing of headaches and depression, they are really getting in the way. St. John of the Cross, pray for us.
