Anyone remember the old hobbit/lord of the rings cartoons? I tried using blue again, i like it better when it comes to these types of drawings (eyes, trees, buildings) but i will definitely be using black for creature and animal drawings. Let me know what you think, comment any tips for improvements, or even just to say what you do like about it; feedback is welcome on all my art.
I decided to practice posing with a character that has a certain style. I also wanted to test a design for my artist logo. I will definitely be making a digital version of this character in the near future. Colored with Artify alcohol-based markers, and a white Gellyroll pen for highlights.

Had fun trying to capture this. Someday I'll figure out how to get the watercolor gradient I want. Meanwhile this was a fun way to practice and I freaking love these Daniel Smith watercolors. I definitely need to get some full tubes of certain colors. (Moonflower, Lunar Violet, Opera Pink, Cerulean Blue, all the Cobalts, i think all the Primateks - I haven't tried them all yet... *Sigh*)
I took too long of a break from drawing, but so far this is coming out well. I've tried to go for a sci-fi theme, which is my favorite genre, but definitely not where my strengths are. Criticism, critiques, and suggestions are very much welcome! Also I'm going to have to find a new way of uploading my work.
I overheard the term ‘feeding the muse’ after what felt like an age and two halves at some point this week, so I figured I’d utilise it as a source of inspiration (and corrupt it in the name of art) somehow...
