The Meeting Bell Medium : Pen and Ink On Bristol Board Size : 11" x 15" Year illustration was completed : 1987 This illustration was part of a collection of pen and ink rendering i did for a christian mission, for their pamphlet that was published to inform the community, surrounding churches, and the military post near by, of the services they offered, and about their ranch. Their main ministry is to the military service personnel and their families. They offer a weekly dinner followed by a Bible study. They offer a place where service personnel could spend the weekend at the ranch for free, with meals included. There would also be activities they could partake in , such as going to concerts, going to amusement parks, visiting national park for picnics and hiking. The ranch holds retreat for military personnel who are in training, who want to learn about the Bible , and enjoy good home cooked food, rest, and out door recreation in the country. This ministry also lends it's facilities too near by churches, and to the military chaplaincy, for luncheons. This ministry is a great work of God, share God's word, and love through hospitality. About the bell. I call this illustration the meeting bell, because it sat right out side the activity center, and when ever a retreat was being held, the bell was use to let the guess know when a meal was being served, or a Bible study was about to begin. If you study the bell you can tell that at one time it must have been housed in some kind of church or fire house, by the big wheel attached to it's side, so it can be rung by a rope. Then when it found it's self at the ranch , they must have had a arm clacker manufactured, To strike the bell to sound.

STAYING OUT OF MISCHIEF

I don't expect many of you to be familiar with my Instagram page, but the algorithms are going nuts over the lack of posting I've been doing. I'm really glad to get this out for them! I hope you enjoy! This took me far longer than it should have, but school's been tough.

Taking a break from photo editing to get creative in other areas... Over the Beltane weekend, my girlfriend and I watched the British dub of Urusei Yatsura over on YouTube. Yes, I assure anyone not aware, such a thing exists and my word is it hilarious (but not for the easily offended! Oh and while, I'm here, may the 4th be with you :-)

These are seashells that I copied out from Dana Fox’s (In the Ocean) book. They were fun but it was also challenging trying to capture the likeness and texture of seashells.

Summer 2021 - Out in the Atlantic

Really exploring the different possibilities of digital art, and having a lot of fun with it! Very pleased with the outcome here!

Was working on expanding the character design of my steampunk vampire Lumin Vasile. I'm finally working my way up to writing a script for a webcomic featuring him. I'll need to do a few more outfits for him but I think I have a better sense of his style from this outfit alone.

A pair of Ukrainian Easter eggs I've made. My designs are not especially traditional and are instead inspired by old wood cut art. The first egg features a musician playing a bandura and the second has 4 pictures, fish, forest, wheat and mountains. The eggs are made using beeswax applied with a metal tool called a Kistka (heated via a candle or electricity) you draw on the egg wherever you want to preserve its current colour before putting it into a dye bath working from the lightest colours to the darkest. When you have finished you remove the wax using a candle a paper towel and a little patience. heating and wiping away. then you can blow out your egg by making a hole in its top and bottom, smashing the yolk with a needle and blowing. These eggs are a couple of years old but we've pulled them out for easter last weekend.

This is the amazing work i dedicated to my guardian with his sigil. He has always been there for me and helped me, and often tells me dates that turn out to be accurate for something that ends up coming along or manifesting. Practice with light and prospective

Hii there!:) In the last few weeks i noticed, that sometimes when i started drawing there where insecurities that came up. Like: it is not good enough etc. Then I reminded myself that everyone can have that feeling when it comes to creating something that is important to them. Maybe when somebody writes a new song or edits a video they made etc. So I started drawing Talun. There is alot of aspects he is proud of and others that he feels insecure about. He reminds me, that it is natural to have some doubts or just insecurities. Talun wishes you a wonderful day! And of course, me too!

Hello! :) Drawing this was really fun. I was working on it in different places. In our living room, on the balcony aand at the beach. My sister, my mum and I went on our first road trip together. Hi and hello! Now is the time for her to just feel the sand under her toes and knees. The little friends are doing their happydance and she passed by to say hello. I was so proud of this picture and had alot of fun drawing it and then - I honestly got really insecure about it. Now i gave myself a little push and decided to share it now. My apologies for older works, just going through old notebooks and wanted to share this For all of you just getting started out there, or struggling with motivation, this is a side by side comparison of drawings about 18 months apart, 1 drawing a day. It may not feel like it, but every bit of practice you get a little bit better. Keep it up!
