XD (Danny Gokey is awesome -- give him a listen sometime) Anyway, Alejandro here is mostly crayon, but his hair and shades are colored with brush pens. He has an ink pen outline. Gourd-face started out as a tiny doodle in my sketchbook but I couldn't stop thinking about him. So I drew several gourd-faces. This one has the unfortunate circumstance of growing on his face. Poor Gourdy. I drew him with pencil and then colored on the computer. Cheers!
I can't do inkinv right now because of a health problem right now, but I am still doodling! I get to have my brain tumor removed on the 9th of February.
what will probably be my last drawing of 2020 I sort of surprised myself after months of kind of muddling through half finished sketches I worked into the small hours of the morning to polish this sketch. I'm pleased with how its turned out.
They rode in silence as the sandy dunes passed them by. There was a storm brewing at the horizon. They did not know what destiny had in store for them next. All they had was themselves to rely on. They needed no one, they were independent.
This has been going around the Internet recently, so I gave it a try myself. I experimented a little with my no-line pastel style to create my own version of a frame from the Sailor Moon anime.
I really wanted to capture the expression and general feeling of the original while still making it look like my own original art. I hope you dig it.
