"Beauty of Hope" as one of the original painting I donated to charity and it was auction in exhibit. It was one of my favorite painting so far.
I used koi watercolor and a fabriano 200 gsm paper. Most of the color I used are blue, green, light green and yellow and a bit of orange. The metallic gold paint was one of the color that added flavor to the painting.
I got three paintchip cards from a big paint company in the mail and decides to paint some moths over the holidays. This is the first one, done with acrylic paints, posca pens and karinmarkers.
13 young, Indian adults, struggling with mental health issues, explained what colour represented her/his fear and which represented hope/happiness. The left half of the face has all the colours associated with fear, while the right shows hope/happiness.
The background of this painting is created by these two girls. I had daughters of a friend paint a canvas and then I painted them into their painting. It could be a commentary on modern art, but it's ore just for fun and makes for a cool image.
Today is such a fun day, on September 20, 2018 I decided to stand on the balcony taking a landscape picture of my city. This landscape picture was taken by me one afternoon when the sun was about to set. These are the results from a request to create a piece based on a fathers son's nicknames. The older brother is the moon, second the bear, third the bird. Added the stars as the parents.
His first request was of a tattoo of sorts ...but I struggled and my drawings kept turning into children illustrations. I so enjoyed the challenge and it gave me an opportunity to honor the love of family. At the same time, it was hard to associate them into a tattoo:) .
