Multi media: inks sprayed on sketchbook, brush markers, and fine liners seeking out shapes via negative painting. Then plonking about a bit, until sleep finally embraced me.
They rode in silence as the sandy dunes passed them by. There was a storm brewing at the horizon. They did not know what destiny had in store for them next. All they had was themselves to rely on. They needed no one, they were independent.
A collage made of scraps of cardboard, toothpicks, and words. The "frame" is also made from corrugated cardboard, spray painted. A fun project made from discards.
Unfinished value study for a painting, worked in graphite on hot pressed watercolor paper. Drafted and rendered using the Bargue method. Hopefully, I got the photo oriented correctly so that the drawing will be right side up, once I upload it! If anyone has advice for photographing a heavy application of graphite, without getting weird reflectiveness, or speckled effects, I’m very interested!

It's official. I've gone to the dark side and fallen in love with acrylic gouache - specifically the Liquitex one. I can't seem to do anything representational right now. I'm doing these weird "pen paintings" in the evening before bed. One painting takes me about a week. They are very relaxing just putting the color on the paper is therapeutic.
