This is an extension of my steam of consciousness sketchbook practice. Having fun!

This piece came out in an attempt to make sense of the world around me after discovering that I have autism and a few processing disorders. I’ve always had a hard time in relation to people and now it makes sense, but wrapping my mind around who I am and what people want is a challenge. Acyrlic paint. Painting the environments and destinations the nature offers us. The use of warm colors to depuct the blissful experience along eith the play of nature light and elements.

...initially was going to replace the spiders meal for a banana (referring to the piece #Comedian created by artist #Maurizio_Cattelan)...but just could not do it. Had some good conversation about the concept, so hope it leads to more. Instead, it has lead me to explore some other ideas.

I want this to be a series of paintings. God knows if i’ll have the time to actually do the rest.

I was in one of those moods where I wanted to paint something majestic. I guess this is what happened. Finished January 6. Please check out some of my other paintings as well! I would also love to hear your opinions!

Here is a painting I made from observation on the top of Mont Bélair in Canada, just before sunset. I am painting those in a 5x8 very convenient moleskin watercolor book. I previously eyeballed the dimensions of this book at 4x6 when I had no ruler to verify but I was slightly wrong. Now the info is exact. :)

An excercise in negative painting with my set of bister inks. I wasn't completely happy with the results - the bister ink was not as transparent as i expected it to be.

This is inspired by one of Bob Ross’s works. I added some twists and differences though. It is an older painting, but still one of my favorites!
