This piece is in a style that, I think, is very different from how I usually drawn or paint. I had bought myself a set of acrylic gouache paints, and I wanted to do something to test them out since I'd never used them before. (I'm definitely not the type of person who sees something new and buys it for the heck of it, but here we are..) I will say, I'm happy I bought them. If anyone has these paints and can share any tips on using them, it would be greatly appreciated!
An excercise in negative painting with my set of bister inks. I wasn't completely happy with the results - the bister ink was not as transparent as i expected it to be.
Watercolors and fineliners on Aquarelle, 300 GSM. Fantasy has always appealed to me ever since I was a kid, and I often find myself lost and wandering around in the fantastical world of "could've been's"
This watercolor painting was done of one of the first flowers I saw upon arriving in London. It was a yellow climbing rose on the outside of our residence hall. I have the design for sale as prints and as printed products like mugs and shirts on Redbubble, Society6, Zazzle, and Threadless.
