This is my second shot at a full page floral abstract. “Trippy Forest” is my extra-colorful one, but this one is focused on details done in red, blue, black.

Digitally made pattern of gingko biloba leaves using the sketch on my last post as a starting point.

Three line drawings of leaves on Guarro paper, 6x9 inches. I later vectorised the gingko leaf and made it into a digital pattern.

When I was planning this pattern I really wanted it to have a dark background. I built it in photoshop using hand drawn marker flowers but when I try to place them on a dark background it looks ridiculous!

I used African motives to create the background and the erasers of the pencils, I used the African round huts.
