Recent commission: How do women move forward when doors are continually closing in front of them? Doors that were open in the past are now being closed by those who think that you should live your life the way they do even though your life situation is vastly different from theirs. 2022, 13” x 19” Ballpoint Pen on Paper, Digital. A drawing of the Jules Dalou (1838-1902) sculpture. I would love to post more than one photo, but the site sometimes randomly duplicates one of my five images. 2023, Double Page Spread-5” x 8,” Ballpoint Pen on Moleskine Sketchbook.
I feel like I haven't made any actual art in a while, let alone actually said anything about anything. It's been a long week, in both good and bad ways. First off, I was accepted into college, and then (for lack of better words) I accepted my acceptance to that school (I'm officially a Blue Demon!). Gymnastics is shut down, which I feared would happen, due to the rising cases in IL. It'll be closed at least until after the holidays, which scares me, but it is what it is (I wish people would just follow guidelines and wear masks)... I've been frustrated lately, mostly artistically. I go through times where I'm not satisfied with anything, nothing is good enough but all I want to do is create. There are a few larger projects I've been working on in the background, two for school and one personal. The personal one I haven't had much time to work on, but I'm hoping I will over the next few days (since I'm on break.) So yep. Lots of moving parts right now. Anyway, I hope everyone has a safe Thanksgiving!
Rest in Power, Paul Reubens. I watched a lot of Pee-wee Herman as a young kid. As an adult, Paul Reuben's collection of erotic gay art made him interesting to me but misunderstood by many people. Any way you take him, he was funny and made many people laugh. I painted a scene from Pee-wee's Big Adventure, a classic Pee-wee movie from 1985. I love the California scenery and am happy with how the landscape turned out.
The new king inherits the unspoken and messy legacy of slavery and colonization. 2023, 19" x 13" Ballpoint pen on Archival Paper. Source: Prince Charles portrait by Hugo Burnand.
Binge-watched “Bridgerton” last weekend and paid the price for it all day Saturday. The drawing is based on my wife's picture of me on the couch sleeping off my bad decision. HB, 2B Staedtler mechanical pencils on 8.5” x 11” acid-free sketchbook.

Sometimes people just don't understand that "It's not just a car ". It's MUSTANG GT.
I was in love with Mustang since first drive. Lol not in Real Life . My first sight was in NFS Most Wanted. After watching Razor's modified look. I was soo in love . Thats how it started.
It's an Acrylic Painting. Its been almost a year I haven't tried Acrylic. So thought to paint an automobile and there I found my love Mustang
Looking forward to make more automotive paintings.
Like her name, she's sour but she's more angry than glum,I really don't like how her dress turned out but I really couldn't try anything else since I'm drawing with my finger again.. hopefully I'll redesign the dress soon and use less orange.Duchess RavenWaves is my inspiration for her.She is a purple licorice princess albeit evil (you know how a lot of people hate licorice?) Instead of having simple sweet candy decorations on her dress she has candy corn decorations (no one likes candy corn) she is really bitter, evil, selfish and ruthless often enslaving many candy people with her father who works as her advisor.her wand isn't alive like Sweetnette's wand it still has powerful magic like Sweetnette, she has to dance and sing to transform, there's a jester form and a military leader form.she is taller and thin, and has a circular face in contrast to Sweetnette's square face.she often uses demonic magic, which sometimes backfires.
