Paper, namely drawing, is a world of magic and witchcraft. The world of witchcraft, then, touches on the real, material world. I was studying the picture for a while and all I've concluded is that the green trail is not connected to another path. Piece from a while back when I first started to get back into sketching things

This piece reflects a year caught in chaos and silence. The intertwining lines mirror the uncertainty I’ve felt—about the world, my family, and myself. Metallic flashes represent fleeting hope and resilience, while the dark spaces hold the weight of loneliness. In stillness, everything continues to move—loud, heavy, and unresolved.

While most of my pieces are usually fantasy and manga based, I do try to get outside that box. The same goes for mediums used as well. Here's a bit of still life of a ramen cup because I admit to having a bit of an obsession with ramen. I do like to cook myself but I tend to cut corners somedays as well...

Because of the texture the sketchbook's paper, I couldn't use my regular mediums of choice. I decided to give crayons another go. It's a rather old piece (older than the other ones I've posted here) so not giving this a watermark.

Another older piece. At the time, I want to say I was playing a ton of Sonic Origins. This was inspired by Sonic 3 and Knuckles' Icecap Zone - with a bit of a modern flair from Sonic Adventure's Icecap.

While watching "Alexandra Ehle" a new French series released on MHz Choice I noticed the character was using the app Tayasui Sketches on her iPad. Since I hadn't used the app for awhile today felt like the right time to dive into it again. This speedy painting is the result. Using a background I had created some time ago suggested a limited palette which helped the flow of the piece onto the screen. The series stars Julie Depardieu.

So we like to crumple up paper throw it down on the sketch pad and draw something in the shape of the shadow that appears. It’s really fun and always something new. This guy is the result of one crumpled up piece.

Ok made the 2nd Mystery of the Mysteries of Light: The Wedding of Cana. Also an important revelation and the prime miracle that started Jesus' "hour". I definately spent much more time on the Baptism because of it's important icon significance but I found some good lil inspiration for this too, a bit more simple but nice. ^_^ Oh and if you don't know the story: John Chapter 2 1 And the third day, there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee: and the mother of Jesus was there. 2 And Jesus also was invited, and his disciples, to the marriage. 3 And the wine failing, the mother of Jesus saith to him: They have no wine. 4 And Jesus saith to her: Woman, what is that to me and to thee? my hour is not yet come. 5 His mother saith to the waiters: Whatsoever he shall say to you, do ye. 6 Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three measures apiece. 7 Jesus saith to them: Fill the waterpots with water. I'm actually quite happy with this piece, it feels very quiet and serene.
