I have a Webtoon called The Peculiar Scribble. I am completely redoing and rebooting the series. The series only has one chapter at the moment. But I didn't like the start of it, so I'm giving the chapter and the rest of the series a fresh new start. I will hope to have the whole chapter posted to Webtoon by the end of the month. This is a sneak peek of the comic cover art. This character means a lot to me and comes from the very depths of my black inky soul.

This picture was drawn by me with Pentool SAI software on my computer, the picture designed by me from the cameraman is the beautiful female character Dieu Thuyen sipping a glass of wine while waiting for her father to return from a victorious war. Dieu Thuyen is one of the most talented beauties I have ever known, so in the photo I added an oval lute and used pink as the main color for the embellishment. giving Dieu Thuyen a proud beauty. I missed the deadline to post. I drew this early in the day but I waited after work, late at night to post. I'm starting to realize that I need to do these early in the day, especially before work but I decided to live on the edge and see how close to midnight I can post ,got sloppy, and then this happened.....lesson learned :(
Sorry I haven’t been around to post much. I’m always really busy during the summer months. I decided to buy a set of oil paints and experiment with them. When my set arrived, it was missing a blue paint so i had to improvise on this one. The painting is still wet so there is some glare in the image. I feel like it looks good, but I am definitely lacking the skill and technique in oil paints. That is why this painting is super simple and easy subject matter. Hopefully, I can start to get a feel for the oils :)
A commission that didn't work out. They had something specific in mind but hadn't relayed that. I will learn to ask more questions in the future :) live and learn! I'll likely post the new one when it's done.
I have a buddy, Rad, who has farm and has always been into motorcycles. Rad hardly ever uses the computer, so I make And send him postcards via snail mail. I informed Rad that I was into Medieval art and found this ancient illustration he might find interesting.

Fit for a King! I should have posted this yesterday as the 27th April was King's Day in Holland and a huge celebration day for the Dutch. The King and Queen visit a different city each year, but not by bike I'm sure.
Inktober 2020, Day 13: "Dune". After pondering for a while, whether I should come up with something surprising, I decided to go with what for me is the obvious association, the sci-fi book. I based it on this illustration of a sandworm (https://dune.fandom.com/wiki/Sandworm?file=Dune-sandworm.jpg) by Nathan Rosario. It’s not meant to promote the now postponed new movie, but rather based on the books by Frank Herbert, which I loved as a teenager.
