Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864-1901)
Toulouse-Lautrec drank constantly and slept little. After a long night of drawing and binge-drinking, he would often wake early to print lithographs, then head to a café for lunch and several glasses of wine. Returning to his studio, he would take a nap to sleep off the wine, then paint until the late afternoon, when it was time for aperitifs.
(One of his inventions was the Maiden Blush, a combination of absinthe, mandarin, bitters, red wine, and champagne. He wanted the sensation, he said, of “a peacock’s tail in the mouth.”)

Watercolor commissions I did for a wedding theme around Mediterrano and Provence, here is the final product integrating all the watercolor illustrations
Every couple of months, I turn a bunch of my doodles or rough mini sketches into stickers. I draw them directly onto sticker paper and seal them with bookbinding foil. These foxes will be Christmas presents.
A colour sketch of Llyn Brianne in preparation for a much larger piece. The sketch was done in acrylic, but then I changed my mind and started the full-sized piece in oils.
Congrats to anyone else who took part in inktober this year! I focused on combining witches inspired by different types of teas and I had so much fun! I’m conquering my irrational fear of side profiles and I think it’s working, I’ve been really liking side profiles lately and finding them easier to do. I experimented on this piece with adding freckles (they’re a feature in all of my inktober sketches but I haven’t liked how freckles have looked when I’ve dotted them in with a pen or brush) and uh, I guess it was kind of a success? Next time I’ll use my lighter shading colour for them, as I used the ink I use for my lines and it turned out really dark and concentrated, but I think they’re cute! (and I have ink sprays everywhere)
Sketchbook #7. This time I decided to try 100 heads challenge. It was quite fun, but it took me 2 months instead of 10 days though... I haven't used all the provided references and mixed them with my own. Entries 1-10, mechanical pencil.
Pink tulips on toned tan sketch paper. This was my first time burnishing. I used the toned tan paper so that I could better see the effects of burnishing with a white pencil. I used Prismacolor soft core pencils.
I'm a big fan of DSaF. I love the characters (kebab boy is my personal favorite), and I cried once I found out that they all freaking die in the end. But not like a little bit of programming can't do the trick, right? I'm using the same sense of Glitchtrap (aka not really being William, but rather an AI or sorts of him) to bring back (a replica of) Jack, Dave, and Henry in the modern world. They're stuck in springlock suits right now, surrounded by wires, as somebody works on them. Dave is in the Bonnie suit, Jack in the Fox suit, and Henry in the Freddy suit. The man who is working on them plans to open a pizzaria, and work alongside the three to create the "Fazfrick's experience". He will wear the Chica suit, because nobody else wants to be the girl. I finally finished this piece for my Aunt. It was based on a goofy picture she sent me. I am pleased with the depth I achieved and can see improvements. I am not most experienced with portraits or anatomy/characters.
