I've been trying to stay in touch with my family and friends whilst we are all social distancing. This Illustration is a revisited self portrait. The breast on my back feed four pencils/tentacles and the color spread from the female body to the page and "travel" all around the surface. The meaning is to show the reciprocity between the artist and the manufact.
decided to draw one of my close friends Dungeons and dragons character i think it came out pretty okish, did it all in sharpie and as you can prob see they were running a bit dead.
I'm taking part in a doodle-a-day challenge on Instagram - here's my entry for the prompt 'game'. I'm going for an adventure / lost boys theme, so reckoned hopscotch is the kind of game they might play in the sand :)
I’m fascinated in how something may make you feel. For instance, I’m deeply moved by images of outer space from the Hubble space telescope, but I do not try to recreate those photographs in my work. What does not exist in those photos, is how they may make us feel. This is why you won’t see any “realism” in my art. When we send astronauts to space, they can discuss factually what is happening, but what truly moves human beings is when astronauts describe how they felt while they were there. So, I choose to express how I feel, as opposed to illustrate what I see.
