sometimes my head doesn't work right and art doesn't look like art. sometimes i like to simply draw and doodle and not have a plan nor a color scheme. this is an example of that type of in-the-moment artwork sketch in my sketchbook. it includes marker and ink drawings, stickers, and random pieces of scrapbooking materials
This was done a year ago, but it's my favorite because it was basically just dumps of random doodle ideas that I had or had seen. It is a cluster of things that I liked at the time such as my favorite drink, food, animal, patterns, instruments, show, plant, seasons, and much more.
This sketchbook spread features a stylized pattern of colorful poppy flowers. The garden of flowers includes leaves of green, yellow and peach. The flowers are yellow with blue stems. The drawing as a whole has a whimsical and playful feel with a bright color scheme, polka dots and organic squiggle shapes, and blobs of seemingly random colors. Heavily inspired by the stay puft marshmallow man, marshmallow imps are very playful,loving and love hugs, Sourglum accidentally summoned them in her castle which ended up being infested by them,they get attached easily (they're very sticky) she gets angry and banishes them since they are not dangerous or violent to attack Sweetnette and her kingdom.they are slow but jump a lot they also giggle (Pillsbury Doughboy) they randomly teleport themselves from hell into Sourglum's castle.at the end she decides to keep them although as her loyal servants.
