Painted Zip disk. Mixed media. I love old retro stuff and found rejected objects. It's hard to believe how fast zip, floppy, jaz, etc. disks became yesterdays technology. It's about time these old disks found a new purpose and some respect.
Overview:
The title of this piece is directly inspired by the lyrics of the song "Rabbit In Your Headlights" by UNKLE. I liked the fact that I shook the static sensation of this shot using some vibrant colours and decoration. The subjects seems to be frozen in time, waiting for someone that will save them.

You wish you had bought it back then, so now is your chance to repair the damage and get this album instead. It's almost the same. We promise. (Future you calling is an invented band. I'm not musically skilled enough to make the band reality but I can always imagine how their albums would look like if existed. This is a piece I did, based off of a prompt in a daily creating group that I am a member of on Facebook. The theme was Polka Dots (If the title wasn't obvious). Looking forward to trying out DoodleAddicts!
