I had an idea to create illustrations of fruit set in autumn 2017, and have been working on the realization of this idea throughout February/March 2018. In all, I have created 11 illustrations: apple, apricot, banana, cherry, grape, lemon, orange, pear, plum, tomato, watermelon. Using rapidograph to form the shape, I am coloring my works digitally in Adobe Photoshop. Here is an apple!
"Focus" this piece is about focusing your intention on your dreams, activities, life. Also, I love Peggy Gou - a Korean DJ who is an absolute pleasure to watch. Not only is she super skilled, but you can tell she absolutely loves what she does.

Remember when Billy Shears showed up to replace him? Nah, me neither. I wasn't going to wreck my record to hear them say it either. I know the prompt was warm colors, sadly if I did the jacket in pink or red it would've been George or Ringo. Anyway, a quick but fun sketch. Cute peaceful fox drinking coffee, wearing a scarf. Trying gouache for the first time. It's a really nice medium. I am definitely going to keep at it and make some more gouache paintings.
This sketchbook spread features a man whispering some Yin Yang song lyrics into a lady's ear. I drew them separately, then realized the guy was definitely hitting on her. I can't imagine that singing the lyrics from "Wait, The Whisper Song" have ever worked. But today might be the day. We also have a hairless cat and some very mysterious Illuminati symbolism. I like to stay busy.
