Lots of rain = lots of mushrooms
I think I’m becoming obsessed with the whole rabbit hole thing.
my doodle room project thats was exhibited at Pavilion Mall, KL. There was a customised TV, table and a sofa.
customised old teli for my doodle room exhibition.
Three islands filled with people all alone out by the sea,
You see, I'd love to join them but there is no room for me.
That one guy climbed too high - I think they call him "Clumsy Paul?"
Soon there may be room for me... I'm just waiting for his fall.
What started off as a mess up ended up as a cool doodle. I plan on putting it up on my bedroom wall, maybe Walton will feel less hollow since he'll have some good company. I think everyone has a little bit of Walton in them at one point or another..
Imaginary view from window, memories of living in Amsterdam
The source reference image was from an impromptu photo shoot I did several years ago. The available light in the room was magical and the model was just sitting there meditating.
Pencil, Charcoal Pencil, Pastel Pencils on 9” x 12” Strathmore Archival Sketchbook Paper.
"Contemplation of the Jump" - drawn & colored in Escape Motions Rebelle.
My drawings are pretty random, but after I make them I think about them a bit... like... what is that girl in that cave room thinking and why is he going to jump?
I should probably know the answers... but I don't.
From a snap of me sitting in the waiting room. Pencil, Charcoal Pencil, Pastel Pencils and white Prismacolor pencil on 9” x 12” Strathmore Toned Grey sketchbook paper.
Who, what, where, why, and how? A complete blank slate. Today marks the first day of school, a stranger of its own. An open mind, an opportunity, an empty room.
We got more snow here today- more like slush on snow. I love winter but can't wait for green things and foraging and all the bugs and critters!
Charcoal on gessoed sketchbook paper
Inspired by a Danielle Donaldson watercolor class.
Was just hanging out with my wife and son in the living room last night and this spilled into my Moleskine.
Specifically colorful magic mushrooms

Night time watching LOTR.
Meet Dr. Lorna Breen. She was in the trenches of the front line inside the New York hot zone during the first wave of the pandemic. She saw the massive influx of patients she knew she could not save (29,000 deaths reported in April, 2020). She contracted the virus and after recuperating, went straight back to work. A week and a half later, the hospital sent her home. Her family intervened to bring her back home to Charlottesville, Virginia. During her visit with her family, she seemed “detached.” She passed away April 26, 2020 at the UVA University Hospital in Charlottesville from self-inflicted wounds.
"She tried to do her job, and it killed her… Make sure she’s praised as a hero. Because she was, she’s a casualty just as much as anyone else who has died."
—Dr. Philip C. Breen, Father
It's casual Friday with scientists in jeans,
With half of them relaxing and the others breaking things.
Sweeping robots with a broom is taxing (work's not any fun!)
But they're leaving for the weekend soon and all work must be done!
This is my second doodle room request for exhibition. Also my first international doodle job!
Cute critters and kitchen goods form a unique pattern.
What inspired me with this piece was an enchanted forest. The purple trees and pinkish leaves plus the somewhat colorful grass (capturing it with my camera was a little tough but its a mix of forest and deep green with some blue) and the shrooms made me think of a kind of air of mysticism and fantasy. The Elk is one of my favorite animals and I feel has a regal presence almost in it. I thought about adding more vegetation but I was afraid of adding too much. What do you think? ^^
The reading room at The Nest B&B, digital pastel and chalk.
The Invitation By Shel Silverstein was my inspiration. You may come in. But I do not know where some rooms go. Leaving could be harder.
