The dorsal hairs are strongly bicolored, with black or dark brown bases and yellow tips. Some authors consider that H. macrotus is distributed only in Chile and Argentina. Homegrown elephant garlic drawing done in graphite pencil (H and HB). I enjoy drawing little roots and entanglements---following each one to its logical conclusion. A little OCD, I know.

I wanted to draw a crowned animal with a crest on top of its head. Originally , this was colored with colored pencils but I didn't like how it looked so I tried to save it by painting over it with acrylic paint.

A little collection of mushrooms, done with gouache in my mixed media sketchbook. The process of painting with gouache is growing on me, it feels so satisfying.
This is part of a sequence inspired by @moonchildillustrations and her #moontoberweekends prompts (this one is apple!). This was fun, I want to start incorporating more animation/ sequences on what I create. I got inspired by my mother, when she was little she was scared of eating seeds because she thought they would grow out of her ears. With that in mind, have a great October!
