Acrylic on river rock. Believe it or not, except for the sun, I only painted over lines that were naturally in the rock...you can even faintly see the outline of another saguaro to the right of the shadowed one!
Thankfully attempt number 2 came out better compared to attempt number 1, thank God!. I will say that I accidently went a little ham with the ball point pen on the first object.
Practicing tone with different levels of pencil pressure I found very difficult to do because it requires an immense amount of patience and my hat is off to all of you who have mastered it. ⁀⊙﹏☉⁀
Another OC redesign along with a new name,she still looks somewhat like her old design except now she has short hair instead of poofy long hair,green eyes,different horns,two lower fangs instead of one and lastly the sharp horns on each side of her face.she also doesn't have a hourglass body shape anymore (I don't want two female characters having the same body type)She is a good friend of Tenebris,they often challenge each other and have fights to see which who is stronger than each other,she is athletic,loud mouthed and mischevious and she is skilled in flying unlike Tenebris.
Another Oc who I haven't drawn in a while due to his original design being difficult,Now Tenebris has five fingers and four toes and finally...a tail.he looked more like a grey skinned person than a demon before.he is shirtless since male shadow demons are shirtless but I may give him an open button down shirt instead.Since it was my first attempt,next time I probably will make a reference sheet for him and other ocs.
I started this last night during my ArtShare on my Discord. At first, he looked like a generic wolf character, but then I got silly and decided to redraw him as a tiger, which added like 3 hours, since I'd never drawn a realistic tiger head. I also didn't use a reference for the snake, so I understand if it's not quite right. I will upload a version with dark shadows soon. I began drawing this in response to watching the title sequence to an 80's cartoon, "The Get Along Gang." Do with that information what you will :D.
This a self portrait drawing of myself as a younger man, with a lot of shadow play on the portrait itself and a stylized background of a sky, clouds and the sun, rendered in a kind of an imaginary dream-like almost surreal scenario. Many thanks for looking.

Today was the end of first semester, a bit hard to believe half the year is gone, a bit hard to believe we still have half of a year left. The past 24 hours have been nothing less than mental chaos (maybe my coach was foreshadowing all of this when he asked if I was ok last night...) Anyway, here I am, here we are. New character I made for Taured. He can phase in and out of shadows: like, if he runs at a wall (or even walks), he can turn into a 2D shadow, which can travel at high speeds, morph into different shapes, and when he's done, he can just pop out whenever he wants to. His mouth is way bigger than normal; but for the sake of the rest of Taured's population, the government has sealed his mouth shut, side from a small section in the middle. The scars on his neck are not open and bleeding; they're just opening up to reveal a vibrant red energy within. Drawn with FireAlpaca.
Charcoal and graphite. I drew this while standing in the woods for over an hour. The light kept changing as the sun was going down. Fortunately, I was able to capture some dramatic shadows!
I finished it. I thought of this while listening to “Shadows of Mouldwood” from the “Ori and the Will of the Wisps” soundtrack. It’s a protector. Not the good kind. Don’t tell him about the kids that bully you, or the teacher that made you stay after school, or how your father beat you with his belt. When he asks you what you need, just tell him, very politely, you don’t need any help, and make sure you do it convincingly. Because he really wants to help.
