Another Oc who I haven't drawn in a while due to his original design being difficult,Now Tenebris has five fingers and four toes and finally...a tail.he looked more like a grey skinned person than a demon before.he is shirtless since male shadow demons are shirtless but I may give him an open button down shirt instead.Since it was my first attempt,next time I probably will make a reference sheet for him and other ocs.
This very small sketch/doodle, enlarged, inspired a six foot tall painting. The background on the painting is incomplete. I'm back at this work in progress based on this small image from a sketchsheet. This painting will appear at my solo show in Thunder Bay in a couple years.
This is a digital drawing of four random characters. The two on the left were totally spontaneous -- meaning they didn't exist until this picture was drawn. Buddy (on the right bottom corner) is one of my recent creations and he's developed into a very loveable character. Ninjo, I've actually known for a long time. She's a crazy gal -- always chopping stuff and crashing through ceilings. Come to think of it.. she's not really like a ninja at all..!
The whole purpose of this drawing was to showcase my skill areas. I'm skilled in people (both male and female), animals, and even inanimate objects.
My last finished painting of 2020. A morning in the woodlands of Ystradfawr Nature Reserve near my home. This is the final result of one of my colour sketches - Spring on the Line. It sold to lady in a care home who's lost her mobility. I hope it gives her a bit of the great outdoors when she's sitting in her room.
I started this oil painting in Feb 2020, and finished it in April the same year. I guess it's a tribute to Welsh beaches in winter - miles of sand, and barely anyone around.
I do browse some weird things on places like Youtube, without a doubt! Definitely in the search of inspiration 9 out of 10 times though (as you can see)...
I saw other artists use a white out pen to add small details to their finished drawing so I decided to experiment. Unfortunately, it doesn't always work.
I uploaded one with Sidney a week ago but made a few adjustments.The two lads aren't having the best of luck with their crushes especially Servino since he Morrison threatens him frequently and with Mevlon being labeled another nobody by Adely herself.would they happily persist or become hopeless and alone?I could have put more effort in drawing the text bubbles at least :[ I had a cramp on my hand,ow!
Part of a huge doodle. Started as a doodle while I talked to a friend on the phone. She was one of those non-stop-don't-interupt-me talkers. I got hours of work done while on the phone. It ended up being purchased by our local public gallery for $4,000 bucks. Not bad! And I may use it in a future children's book.
haven't drawn her in a very long time but other than that she was fun to draw!she's the third female demon OC I created back when I was 17,she had a much more different look and she looked less like an demon princess and more like a succubus.I still haven't designed a crown for her yet I might give her some jeweled headband instead.she hides her eyes because as a royal she thinks that she should not have them exposed at all even though Eltrakarians have a lot of eyes.She is good friends with Prince Fedren,she is also older than him.perhaps I will make more of these OC drawings with descriptions soon.I forgot to include a color palette but I'll save it for a redraw or for another character drawing.

Class assignment: draw a crowd with layers and overlapping. I took this class because it is my artist heart's desire to capture people in real life action. We did learn a technique for that, but we did it from video. It was so stressful, and I'm considering practicing that 10 min a day for Lent. This one was a compilation from photos my teacher provided. What are your tips for capturing people in action? For me, the challenge was deciding what the action was. I kept changing the action as I saw it because it is SO FAST. I felt like I couldn't "see" fast enough.
I've finally redrawn my profile picture! Except, my actual profile picture will be magenta instead of blue. This design still isn't canon, but I haven't found the motivation to redraw the entirety of the Ringmaster's crew. My last attempt was with the advanced version of Elizabeth, and the unfinhed Preistor, but they take so long to make --- and that's why Preistor goes unfinished. The reason they take so long is because I also sculpt the endo inside of them, in which the 2.5 versions didn't have an endo, and the joints and such were put in after I had drawn ths shell. Mortal Elvarelyn is telling Erik & Abigail about her life when she was an Alceridian demon before Qasaherim exiled her whilst Bernard scowls at them at the same moment when Gerard is reading the Bible.this is actually the first drawing I worked on CSP but it took me weeks to finally finish the background since im not too keen on drawing them.I even drew a house (it's the first time in years actually)it looks shabby but then again lots of peasant houses were shabby and small.
