Emotionally speaking, this is definitely the hardest pieces I've made so far. On July 18th, 2019, an arson attack on Kyoto Animation's Studio 1 left 36 dead and 34 injured, one of the deadliest mass casualty incidents in Japan since the end of WWII. KyoAni has some of the best working conditions in the industry and have made some of the most iconic anime to date, including Clannad, A Silent Voice, and the show that got me started on anime, Violet Evergarden (as seen in this drawing). I sent this drawing to them through their website, and there's a good chance it was displayed along with thousands of other fan submissions in Kyoto this past November as part of a public memorial service. While this was a tragic blow to the company and community, they're healing and getting back to their feet, and I can't wait to see what they create next.

My take on Nanachi, Riko, and Reg in the Goblet of Giants from the show "Made in Abyss." Several reference photos were used. Copic markers on 150lb illustration paper.

Injured - That time when Jon Snow and Ghost were injured from the long night battle with the undead. They surprisingly survived but not without injuries and losses. This scene where they were together resting and recovering did not happened in the tv show, but I can imagine it did! Ancient - The Children of the Forest were around are ancient, mysterious non-human race that long existed and inhabited Westeros way before the arrival of the First Men; 12,000 years before Robert’s Rebellion, according to GoT wiki! This was inspired by the incredible makeup and costume done on the tv show with a little bit of embellishment on my part!

Had a staring competition with this Pigeon at the Easter show a few years back

an illustration from the dragon pearl book - he showed his mother the pearl that he had found. She was delighted and they decided to sell it the next at the market. With the money from selling the pearl they would not go hungry for a while. She took the pearl and to keep it safe she put it into the nearly empty rice jar.

I drew this from a photo of an actor showing disgust but my version turned out looking to me more like he was in agony.

Inktober day 3. a Banshee. I found it interesting that they are more often old women. Since pop culture usually shows them as young ones.

In this piece I tried to show how some people will drain the confidence and personality of other people and they are just overflowing with power and negativity. This is a picture of my art teacher and a prop that I used to get my imagination in paper.. Medium: Charcoal, Prismacolor

Just some ole fanart of my favorite TV Show

Coloring practice! Looked up a lot of references for the lighting, and despite not looking like the reference I'd say I've leveled up with colored pencils. I almost never use prismas except for hair, but this time prismas colored the entire lass. This here's Yonn Goldheart Afflora, savior of Galantra, basically she's the braveheart of her country. The dirt on her face speaks of 1000 hunts and the loss of her eye shows the extent of her bravery and sacrifice. I'm thinking her chapter should be explained in a short story, yes? For legends get passed along in story over fire and wine!

Another transitional one from 2017 in the size of 18" x 24". Looking back, this work starts showing me some glimpses. Abstracts do have an impersonal quality to it. Since it is not grounded with our everyday familiar objects or people, not knowing the visual language would be hard to understand the merits. I guess that is why I fell back to semi figurative.

We Assheads from the World of Fantasy, we know that inspiration is a living being that manages the actions of artists, states them to actions that normal man would not do. We consider the coming of inspiration - to a reasonable extent - good for creativity, but if the inspiration gets us in a firm hug and does not give up, it can have a devastating impact on the individual. In such instances, inspiration shows their other, insidious nature, about which little is spoken. Inspiration will, for example, propel artist - as the devil sinning soul - to constantly create, to eat is not thought, to be many nights sleepless, his sexual life can suffer, etc. Striking inspiration, such as a comet in the head, can, in some cases, result in a straitjacket, even death. We Assheads know that it is not wise to give advice to the artist struck by inspiration, warn him that there are still other joy and values in life. The only line added consciously is the hand. It leads the eye to the eye and thereby showing the viewers that it is in fact a figure. The shape on the right feels kind of right to be there, it really does not matter what it is. Compositional-wise , it works.

Well i made this on my English class. And i like it. I'ts my first post here so "Hello!". This sailor moon is from the TV show "Sailor moon". The design of sailor moon wasn't created by me. I ONLY did a fanart with a faber Castle pen!

This shows the world split in two; the ugly gray polluted world, and the vibrant green, colorful, clean world.

The freshness of morning withdrew in front of the warm rays of the sun. The Wizard of Cirilo Bum and I came to the High Meadow, one beautiful gazebo, where we planned to spend a day off. - Only those who work hard and get their work done, fully enjoy all the pleasure of a vacation - said the wizard Čirilo Bum. I did not answer him, my life plan was to work as little in life, for that reason, I have taught for the wizard at him.
