Quick 1 hour sketch working with a limited palette for a moody, gritty atmosphere. I always like to think of the story behind a piece before I start, and this one was a reflection of where I see the world going - a dystopian world in which many parts of the city have been abandoned, taken over by urban foliage, and left to ruin as people flee.

I've burned through 6 weeks straight of non-stop drawing. I think it means I'm healing up from a painful relationship I needed to end. Sometimes we attract someone due to a perceived chemistry. Then one day we wake up and realize that chemistry is acid and this isn't actually love. This is a distortion. And I don't need to walk through this pain anymore. I've actually grown enough to recognize that being alone, without pain, is a thousand times better than being with someone who refuses to recognize their behavior. Some people have no idea that words can do much more damage than a weapon. Words can kill. If you can't control your tongue, then don't speak. Make this a rule for your life if you care for someone.

I have not drew these kinda characters for a while when 2020 hit. I was a big mlp fan when I was little, but then stopped during 2020 when I got interested in something else like drawing furry characters (like purp kit etc.). I tried to catch my breath after all the running; I finally got to the bus stop. The wind was blowing vigorously, the rain clouds were approaching. It was a very typical spring morning.

i drew this with a certain theme in mind, dystopia or apocalypse. and when I asked some of my friends for a word to base it off of, they said android. so I drew a one point perspective of a plague ridden city with androids as morticians. it's not my best however I thought it would be good to start putting some of my artwork online
